I’m waiting to see some high quality DSLR camera footage out of you guys! GoPros are great for stabile action shots but when quickly panning around on the GoPro it seems to get kinda pixelated. I notice it with my GoPro footage too... so irritating

@@jarrettmaltry6305 This video is shot on a DSLR. I shot the losi videos on a DLSR, but if I use it to shoot myself it has to be on a tripod and that footage is lame. Gopro allows us to track the cars.

@@CCxRC yea this looks super crisp don’t get me wrong! but you’d have to get someone to film for you during videos where you run the cars . I just noticed while running cars (almost) everyone goes the GoPro route because they’re usually filming alone. I suppose gopro could make it easier for slo mo shots as well though

Aghhh! They did it! A legit hobby-grade Son-uva Digger! The Traxxas Son-uva Digger was my first 1/10 RC truck, and I regret never buying any replacement bodies for that. Might be inspired to sell some RC's to get this. I was hoping some company would eventually release a hobby-grade SOD truck. Very cool!

Jeezus they nailed the stance and proportions on these. Beautiful. They even setup the shocks and lower links just like I want. Amazing. After I finish my drift chassis I WILL be picking up a sonovadigger!

Called it!!!!!!!! Just thought it'd be Traxxas, but glad it was Losi!! Love my Rock Rey!! Do like they went with 500k center diff fluid. I'm for sure getting one of these, just not sure if it'll be a RTR or the roller chassis. Either way, I'm super stoked for these! Love my Smt10, but feel like it's that to another level. 👊👍🍻

Those axles would be great up under the ZEI chassis. Hopefully you'll be able to use the the J Concepts wheels on those axles. Trucks look fantastic! I need to pay attention cause I had no idea that these trucks were in the making.

The Jconcepts wheels will work on 25mm adapter they come with.

Tony, Thanks for the great work you did In Enfield Ct. on the 17th/18th Nov. Helped turn a Covid disaster into a great weekend. My son Chris won freestyle and also 3rd place. This truck looks like it will work in the"Challenger" class right out of the box. What do you think? I have spent up to two grand on some of his Pro Mod trucks. Would be nice to get a factory truck that will compete.

I'll have to look. It's hard to tell because the Grave Digger had been run for a month, so the shocks weren't holding it up as much...but I think the fenders and dimension of the body give it that look as well

What's up with the axle SMT10 monster jam? I just went and bought 2 of the axels so are they discontinued now I know the rtr survos are garbage I had 2 of them break .

SMT10 is still a truck that is offered. Both are good and at different price points for consumers

Thanks Richie. I'm actually shocked by it. It's a low cost servo and it's taken a beating so far. I did put a Reefs Raw 500 on my Grave Digger LMT. It's super fast.

That motor on it looks like it rips!

Yeah I know how you feel.. just picked up the Losi baja rey with upgrade parts. Now I need this LMT!

I had/have been looking at the axial smt10... kit version.. but this based on the cush drive sounds more damage resistant.. doing tricks.. (especially with brushless system) . Now its a knowing the smt10 kit price is about 350 here versus most likely 800 ish for the losi.... (As other channels have also filmed unboxing on this rcsparks showed comparison of the axial vs losi. Now know losi is bigger ) Pending the price in oz 🐨.. the losi might be better based on the roller ( pending rtr price vs esc/motor combo) or ripping the one in my hsp to put it in it.

I think those extra rear lockouts might be to adjust rear toe in or camber. But I’m not sure, it looks like it has dog bones in the rear.

not hard. Instead of body posts, you line up the the screw holes for the cage. Or they give you body posts

That's what's recommended for the kit. But nothing comes with a battery. You have to supply or buy a battery for it

Hay! Tell Dennis anderson..I said hi.. I'm from Maine met him at hunneywell.. emden Maine.. he liked my vw type 3 squareback.. and to bad I can't find car . Was stolen from me while I was at work and my dang first exwife let idiots take my car I was restoring it.. 1970 VW squareback...... to bad.. Dennis Anderson and his kids didn't make vw squareback looking monster truck. Frogger.. lol!! Because my 70 vw squareback was funky green.. looked like a frog with wheels.. but I met Dennis Anderson in Maine.. like in 96 or 95.. can't remember the year he came to emden Maine.. I live in Dover-foxcroft Maine.. wish I could meet him again.. but to bad they didn't have the average 57 Chevy bel air body also.. and snakebite and bigfoot.. wish they made other body's for this from other drivers.. but I'd probably save up for the gravedigger one.. some other KZread videos I see on this.. folks saying 1/10 scale . But losi website says 1/8 scale.. glad finally someone made this... looks good.. hopefully they make 1/5 scale of this.. be great for those competition they do.. give different scale races..

I only have exceed mad beast 1/8 scale this gravedigger looks like same size scale as my cheap exceed mad beast .. but I'm going save up money for this gravedigger truck. Rtr.. im going fix up my exceed for my wife she like snakebite monster truck. I wish the make other body's for this. Like some from our past we lost.. like driver for original for the truck playin for keeps. Jesse.. R.i.p!! Because now we losing famous monster truck drivers.. and since they just up the hobby with this truck hopefully they have some past monster truck body's to put on these trucks. They are not locked. The center diff is very thick though

I didn't know anything about it until I got the call to do the video. Then I have to sign an agreement. At that point I can only talk about what is out in the open and push people to talk and see it. But they kept the lid on this one pretty tight...so there wasn't much to talk about.

Why is that you can find dinky toy son uva diggers at the toy store that can get the paint scheme to match but a hobby grade rc truck can't match the decals properly!

Those are a different process, but they should've been able to get it closer. I'm sure they will for future runs on the truck. You can see where they body is paint/printed vs the decals. That paint/print process is closer to the process the small toys get than the decals.

axles are ugly though. I still have not bit the bullet on getting into monster trucks.

Decals look terrible...I won't buy one until this is corrected
