I almost purchased this handbag in Plum Wine. I decided to go with Olive Green instead. I love it! I don’t have any handbags in the color green. Like you I have many purple colored handbags. Your handbag is beautiful!

I got mines in Caramel. I love it. I didn't plan on keeping it, but I didn't know the trimmings were vachetta leather, made all the difference to me! I get that natural vachetta leather I love, but in small doses so the scratching and scuffing and watermarks aren't going to be that noticeable. It's also my first larger satchel. I'm liking the size.

I too got the plum wine & elephant colors in the large Pebble grain satchel 2 days ago. Mine were 169.00 each plus I used loyalty points. I'm looking at some other colors also. 😂 TFS

Were the measurements the same as the description on the website? Got my large Barlow ostrich yesterday. Bought it straight from DB website. Measurements said 12” length and 10.25 height 5 wide. They only sell one size ostrich Barlow. Mine measured 10 length 8 height 5 wide! So mad! Love the bag and all they say is to return it. No I want the bag I ordered! Was mine a defective one??! Now I want this one but unsure to get anything if it’s not right.

I just received this satchel in what was supposed to be Florentine but it looks completely pebbled - now I’m wondering if I should keep it or return hoping for a smooth look. Any thoughts would be helpful 🥴

Well that's a tough one. I weigh several cons when making the decision-1) is the pebbling unbearable to look at? 2) is the stock in dooney.com/ilovedooney indicated when you go back to replace it now? 3) the length of time to replace the bag is not a short one so do I want to wait. 4) how does the bag look in the sunlight vs under the light in my home? That's how I think about my purchases I'm not overly excited about. My Clayton had grown on me. After not looking at it for a month, I pulled it out and it appeared gorgeous to me. I'm learning not to have high expectations on the florentine. It's like the luck of the draw with them. I hope this helps.😊
