ordered a hyperpod today, the part makes a great impression, can't wait to test it. greetings from Switzerland
So helpful! Thanks! 😊
I bought probably the first 3D clamping system, before you made this far superior one. I'm going to purchase yours and a second EAF. MUCH better THINKABLE'd out!

I received the ZWO EAF version a few days ago. It's as well designed and built as I Imagined. So Rokinon 135mm, EAF, ASIAIR mini, cabled up with an astromoded Rebel T7i for now. Guidescope will follow. We know the Dew shield on this lens is flimsy. In fact I had to buy a replacement. I'm using the MSM Dew heater. You didn't leave enough room between the EAF mounting plate (which extends over the dew shield), and the shield. I think a slightly bigger gear on the EAF would alow raising the EAF mounting plate enough to fit a Dew heater without crushing it. I made it work. I'm thinking of getting a 12V maybe 2 or 3 inch one. Placing the elastic velcro strap between plate and shield would fit without pinching. I'll then cut the cable shorter. Solder a 5.5x2.1 barrel connector on, to plug into asiair output power port. One less dangling cord, or USB port used on asiair.
The suplied lens cap is red. When usin this to tske my "darks" (in darkness", they have a slite redish cast. I think this is detrimental. Your thought?
Is everything you show in the EAF version included in the one you linked to? I'm confused with the options. I just want to by what you assembled with a ZWO EAF. I think I figured it out. Add the $20 upgrade, don't just blindly buy the $90 one. You should have pointed that out. I get the company name. You definitely think things out. Awsome design. The proof will come when I get my placed order, THANKS...
One option is to use threaded inserts. These can be easily inserted into the existing holes (may need to be opened up slightly) using a soldering iron. Would greatly increase clamping force as well as reduce the chances of stripping out the holes in the PETG parts 👍🏻

I am now using all threaded inserts for the parts for strength. Here is a link to my Etsy shop: thinkablecreations.etsy.com

@@Thinkable__ Hi, saw that you removed the video with the adapter for the sony version of the lens with the 48mm thread. Is it possible to see this video somewhere? I you got your design (3d printed), but I am not sure how to put it back together, it would be really helpful if I could see the vid again.

@studywithme8055 it should be back up now
Hi, just received mine today, i noticed in The video the rings and Large gear have a black finish on the internal surfaces, whereas mine does not. Is that like a soft padding or something else? Edit: same on my lens cap and Bahtinov mask, which fall off.

The HyperPods have been updated to not have the felt inside anymore which shouldn’t affect the performance. If you want to message me more on Etsy, I can see what else I can do to help.
Thank you for your video. Question, can I use HyperPod for other lenses, especially Rokinon 14mm lens? Thank you!
