It’s such a beautiful bag and ages nicely! I just recently used it on a weekend trip last month and it still holds up and looks brand new 2 years later :) he will enjoy it!

I like coach and I definitely buy them time to time. They have a very rich history, but they are not great quality anymore like back in their hay days. They're only better than the cheap Walmart stuff now where most of their items are not fully leathers and is more like leather straps with the rest of the bag made up of pvc covered cloth material and blends of other cloth linings. I could say the same about Louis vuitton. It really is just buying the brands and designs as status symbols

Sorry for the late reply! KZread doesn’t alert me when I get comments. But as a personal bag? No. It would be considered a carry on. I usually will bring this bag as my carry on and then a backpack as my personal item bag!

@@DennisGarciaI just bought one for $854 the other day but it’s the Venturer and it works as a personal item bag! It carries SO much almost as much as the trekker so I’m able to take everything I need even for my longest furthest travels!!

Are those coatings? Or actual patches or both?

Hahaha I actually thought the same thing. I had an h&m weekend bag that I was replacing and I thought it would be bigger but it was about the same size as my h&m one. It’s still cute though! You can’t deny how fresh it’s gonna look walking through the airport with it 😂
