My grandchildren love when I repurpose old books and make journals for them. It is worth its money. You can laminate the covers before you punch, it makes for a sturdier book.

I’ve bound scoresheets for our favorite card game “65”. I give them as gifts and keep one for myself! When my high school class celebrated a reunion, I bound the booklets each classmate received. It was a wonderful keepsake!

I have the original Cinch machine. When I was a youth leader Of 3 and 4 year olds at our church, I would make a little photo album with pictures of our activities that we did through out the year. I think the parents liked them just as much as the kids did and I enjoyed making them.

Awesome that you could figure out how to use it as a kid. When I was in school for design we had to do a project with binding like this and I failed horribly. The teachers called my notebook "dangerous and sloppy".

Pretty notebook! I’ve had my cinch for a year now and have used it several times. Yes! Follow those instructions! I found it particularly important to press the spiral binding multiple times turning it slightly to get it closed nice and round rather than oval (slightly squashed!). Hopefully that helps anyone who struggles with that part!

Lovely video as always. Just a small tip, though I am sure you have figured that out already, you can punch a lot of pages at once and I punch all of the pages for the first half of the page, then adjust the machine and do the second half. It is so easy because they have figured it all out for you so the holes all line up. I had bunch of painting books that were bound. I unbound them and made them spiral so I could make the pages lay flat when I was doing a project. I have not done anything in a while-you have inspired me to make some little notebooks for my grand daughter.

Hi Bethany Would you cut the metal before if you were making a smaller book? Like would you be able to use the one metal part to make two books. I hope that makes sense.

Yes thanks, I wasn’t sure what it was called. Do you need one for each book or can you make smaller books by cutting it into 2

@@Bethadilly Thank you Bethany! I just also would like to let you know how much you have insprired me to try more with my cricut .Also! I am going to try my hand at machine embroidery because of you. I saw when you were doing applique on your children's shirts how much I would love to try it. I went with the Brother Persona PRS100. The company I bought it from recommended it becauseof the amount of items it came with. To me it is now overwhelming. Just a thought... and maybe more viewers would like to see you embroider more. Thank you for all the your time you have givin to us .
