I bought a RX1E pre sale 11/22 and it arrived in 05/19/23. The bike is a joy to ride and stress free. Low/no maintenance, throttle and break controls like a scooter, range is good for me and the fun of riding two-wheels makes me feel young (I’m 52 now). I charge twice a week and ride everyday to run errands, commute (3days/week), or just get out of the house. I based my purchase on research online, calling CSC and early reviews on YT and this channel, appreciate the hard work and quality videos you create.

@goostador, what kind of range are you seeing if you put it in Comfort mode and hold 65? I'm really interested in one of these, but I need to make sure I can make it to work and back (~10 minutes/5 miles city and 20 miles highway at 65), so I figure if it can do 60 miles at 65 I'm golden.

The more I see it, the more I want to buy one. The price is amazing, compared to others, and the 80mph top speed is perfect for my wants/needs, but the range at top speed and the overall charging speed is just not enough for me. Granted, this does make a perfect city commuter bike. I'd be sold right away if it had 100 mile range at max speed for this price. The perfect e-motorcycle unicorn that is this cheap, has a lot more range at higher speeds, and faster charging speeds will come a few years down the line eventually. For now, I think an ICE bike will have to be my go-to.

You're mistaken when you say the price is because of the features. The price is because of the battery. The battery alone for this bike is more than half the price. I'd like to have one of these, but I'd really like to see a long term review before investing in one. My biggest concern is how long of a lifespan that battery will have. With the cost of a replacement battery, you might be as well off to replace the whole bike. One of the biggest problems with electric vehicles is nobody really wants a used one because the batteries are so expensive to replace.

This is a proper motorcycle able to hold a position in a lane from 10mph to 80 without being in the way or constantly passed by frustrated and nervous drivers. It also has proper signals, lighting and a shape to be seen. Too many eBicycles have speeds that can get you into trouble but 10mph minimal bicycle lighting, reflectors and riders with little foam beanies that isn't going to save your face, neck head in a 50mph B Pillar hit or a slide. If getting this, and not a motorcyclist...please obtain proper training, gear and licencing. This is the identical frame, wheels and HP of CSCs 250cc naked sportbike...so don't kid yourself this is a park eBike.

If you swapped the tires out for something more aggressive, you could actually turn it into a bit of an adventure bike, just not for anything too long range. Adventure riding is usually slower though, so even an hour on the trail might only be 15-20 miles. There and back, 40 miles, you'd still have plenty left in the 'tank'.

A proper electric motorbike, not a beach bicycle trying to be a street motor-cycle. Possibly a good choice for the commuter student or townie. CSC has sold imported China knockoffs of discontinued Honda 250s and 150s for years. Their 250cc gasoline offerings are about $2200. This bike looks like the frame and plastics of their contemporary street bike (based on the CBR250)...so I expect the same marginal but OK weld and fit quality. So the e part is 6000USD over the traditional knockoff motor g part. If buying ask CSC the final price before agreeing. They have some add on fees that may really surprise you. Also figure $800 for a set of budget motorcycle safety gear, retail. $200helmet, $200jacket, $150 armored trousers, $70 good gloves, $150 for proper ankle armored high tops.

What’s the charging like on this? I see it has a separate (assuming, proprietary) charger, so no easy charging out & about…correct?

cool bike, but for commuting in the netherlands i need a moped with 20kwh battery, so i only need to charge 2 times a week for work, and i can also go out for a long drive if i want, top speed should be max 60kmph.

Although the battery does not look like it's easy to remove and replace maybe something else they should consider

Sorry if I missed the detail but did it come with a regular plug in slow charger and if so how long would it take to charge from one third charged, back to full charge please?

You should check out the Braaap MotoE, I have the 10kw model and depending one my use the range is about 140km and to speed is 140km/h. In Australia the price is ~$9000 Australian or about ~$5800 USD. I believe if they are not already in the US they will be soon. The bike is styled as a sports bike and looks good.

What is hp torque and weight?...no specs on site...smaller batteries than a zero fxs at much higher weight doesn't sound like much fun
