The d-pad's functionality can be swapped. (just like the zero 2) - & down=dpad -&left= left stick -&right= right stick

On the zero 2 is there a way to press zl zr for the menu just like their mod kit for snes? if I remember the button comnbonation is just - (select) & + (start) also the mod kit has - (select) & ↓ (down) as the combo for home.

@@bland9876 The micro has zl and zr d00d. It has all 4 shoulder buttons.

Thinking about grabbing 4 of these to keep in my bag. Think it would be fun to be able to bust out 4 player mario party via android emulation to any tv at any time.

I can't believe there wasn't a side-by-side comparison of the charging cables of both Zero 2 and Micro to see whose was shorter

Awesome controller video that a small controller I can’t play with that to small for me but looks great

Got mine yesterday and the Zero 2 as well and admit ordered just out of the novelty rather then seeing myself actually playing with them. I'm not much of a mobile gamer but who knows down the road I could see myself finding something to play with them. But it'd be interesting if say someone can beat someone in a fighting game using these controllers.

@@HeNnEsSy_HiCcUpS Hadn't tried playing on either yet, but in my hands I prefer the micro. That said my opinion might change if I actually try to play with them. I'm downloading a 1tb pi image now and then i'll give it a try.

I'm a girl with tiny hands and I was able to finish Cult of the Lamb using just my zero 2 🤣 so I can't wait to get the 8BitDo Micro! Hope they release it in the color pink though :(

Seeing it in person or video review ……………. Yeah this really is just for the novelty. It’s missing the joystick, which I get it “ it’s the smallest controller ever” so I understand, but this just seems more uncomfortable then holding the switch for 4 hours.

Can you play games on the iPad with this controller, or is it only a mappable shortcut for iPad?

The website says mappable shortcuts, but I'd try it out too for games. I don't use Apple products, so I can't tell you from experience.

I bought it to play emulated games on my tablet. My guess is it isn’t seen as a game controller so it doesn’t work like a PlayStation or Xbox controller. The inputs weren’t working, but I found a workaround. By pressing keys on a keyboard, one by one I learned what each key did for the game. I then mapped the keys to the controller and it functions for my use case.
