***** I think most people are more bothered about the video quality than the sound quality though. I know I am. Also I've never really had any problems with the audio on any of my GoPro cameras - certainly a lot better than the Contour HD that I had before them.

Personally the GoPro Hero 3 is still better even if it is a little bit more expensive. They fixed the audio so its much more crisp and the picture quality in 1080P FULL HD Wide is unbeatable even with cameras 10x its price

With no screen, how do you know if its pointing the correct way, or is it just trial and error? I'm sure all overseas love "bits n bobs" brilliant Tim

Check out the 'mobius actioncam' on ebay. A brilliant and cheap camera which I use in my car.

If you want a very very Good action cam, you should try eyecam!! Better than go pro in my opinion! :-)

Sony is cheaper and still looks quite as good.

Sony is the best brand for me better then Samsung apple or any other.

I'd just stick with a GoPro Hero 3

It doesn't matter if its Gopro or this Sony. Design wise, this Sony seems to be more logical. The GoPro is a brick compared to the cylinder shape of the Sony. And nobody cared to ask why GoPro is still made to look like a DLSR camera after 3 versions, when its clearly marketed as a tough everywhere camera?

Buys an Audi R8... can't afford a GoPro :P

mybikevideos Shmee150 I don't think so. He would have put it on his website under the ShmeeSponsors page and he probably would have said he'd been sent it (or that it had been paid for) in the video. Besides, why does it matter what he uses, his videos are still great. :P And Shmee, would you use a suction cup mount to put the camera on the outside of the car at all (I've seen you do it with a GoPro before but not this)? If so, would you use an external mic to record sound, or keep it raw from the camera? :D I'm going to a track day at Cadwell Park at the start of May in a 1988 Audi Quattro. I was going to record some footage but I'm not too sure on how to do it - sound and video wise. I've been looking at the Sony ActionCam for a while, looking at reviews and videos and I'll probably get one. Just not sure how to get the best output. :)

No. Just more expensive.

I am sometimes curious why people who are seemingly well-off are willing to accept sponsorship that involves them personally doing advertising for a product. I guess a business-savvy person will always take advantage of opportunities to make money, but is the money from this KZread advertisement really worth it, when considering the kind of money you must be making to afford your lifestyle?
