Wow, I was just looking at the D250 this week, nice review! Most at my rc club have a Skyrc charger (D100) so they must be pretty good. 400W is a bit overkill for me, but for parallel charging this would be perfect.

Thank you, I have been searching for days as to what kind of connector can plug into the DC power supply. The manual says it is an XT60, so thanks for clarifying it is an XT90.

Skyrc chargers are great value. A lot of functionalities for a fair price. The LiPo storage function is so useful. When you don't use the battery for a while you just charge them choosing the storage mode and it will bring every cell to 3.8 volts. If they are higher it will discharge them. FYI Pb is Lead Acid batteries. You can charge the battery of your car if it's flat with that charger, quite cool.

Hey Vas I'm quite impressed with the power output of this charger. I would imagine that you can charge a 6S battery in 30 to 45 minutes. The SkyRC brand is really good. I have the 4-way output charger of this brand - it's fantastic, so I can charge 4 batteries at once - I mainly use 2200mah 3S at the moment and I can do 4 batteries at once in 45 min. Will definitely take a look at this for my up coming 6S battery purchase that I will be using on my Heli.

Has the charger got TVC terminal voltage cutoff and if so will it be saved in battery memory setup i have the UP 240 duo witch is a similar charger and has TVC but when i change the TVC to 4.33v per cell under HV and when I unplug from main it wipes the storage 4.33V back to default 4.35V this give me the shits, any info will be much appreciated. Thanks

What the max would be is even better for a video. Most chargers can't charge 2x 6s 5000mah with 5ah per channel, they give 4.2ah per channel. Needing an extra power supply is the next step.

Mayhem RC As he stated,it can only draw so much amperage per channel so I doubt it. If you are running 6c and want to charge 4 I highly doubt you could find anything on the market capable of handling 4 batterys. The manufacter supplied two ports for two batterys,I wouldnt push it beyond that.

Well I bought one... To rcmart, arrived, plugged and after 3 seconds alarm error connection... And a burned smell... Rcmart said to send it back... They fix then I repay for shipping to get it back... I m from Luxembourg sending stuff from here is expensive. I paid around 190 for the charger... Just to send to them 130... So imagine they say it was my fault and not a factory problem... I will have to pay for repair, and shipping back to me... Let's just say big BS from RCmart and bad luck for me, but I also have to say BS SKYRC cause new out of the box this happens... And no, I m 35+ years in to rc so no I did nothing stupid with it. Very unhappy and nobody is able to repair it 🙁. Had to go back to my old brands... So sad when you try a "new" for me brand.. Well I prefer Hitec definitely

Both seem to be of about the same quality, my Thunder AC680 is almost 4 years old and still kicking if that tells you anything, the Hitec just has a few more features and obviously the capability of charging 2 batteries at once, and higher output. The "cheap" chargers that are based on the same design as the SkyRC B6AC are actually pretty good chargers, they are so good in fact that there are companies that make clones of the SkyRC B6AC. Steven Gilbert the Dynamite charger may look similar, but it was not the same. It could only charge up to 10amps and it didn't have LiHV or DJI charging capabilities. Aside from being a dual charger like this one, it had nothing else in common. So not the same.

The fact its duo makes a big different. I am sure you can request the proper plug for your charger when ordering. Watch for a box to check concerning that when ordering. I would like to see the inside of that charger. Why? I would like to see the quality of soldering job on the boards as well as any bodges they may have done to correct any issues in production as well as woring and components used. Now days,I have seen terrible work being done on electronics, even electronics we use to work on electronics. Usually there is nothing inside an electronic device most people are capable of understanding. Most chargers all work about the same. Didnt sound like you have an in depth understanding of how this unit does. I would like to know how well each side is protected from the other concerning shorting issues. Were there any breakers or fuses externally to reset or replace should something go off? Seriously,it is an electronic unit,it should posess some kind of protection should a short occur. I may buy one just to tear it down. You really didnt cover much.

RC Hobbyist Extreme I use this as charger, and as a charger, it should charge my batteries accordingly. I covered its features and explained its functions to the best of my ability and knowledge, this is what this video was about. I made it as such to show those in the hobby who may be looking for a new charger what it can do and how it works. The video was never intended to be complicated, it was made to be simple and to cater for all based on the lowest common denominator. Plus, I’m not going tear this unit down and pretend I know what I’m looking at. Bruce at RC Model Reviews can do the tear down if he gets one himself, he would most likely understand the insides of this unit due to his past experiences and academic education. I, on the other hand, don’t have a engineering or electrical degree of any kind to do that, I would just make a fool of myself. And if you’re so keen to know what the guts of this charger look like, there’s a link in the description, click on it and buy one for yourself. Then you can tear it to bits all you want and poke at it until your satisfied. And maybe you can be the one that teaches me what to look out for in the future in units such as this.
