Great video! Awesome models!The Eyebrow windows can be covered on the Boeing 717, like on the Boeing 737 family. The first 717 without Eyebrow windows was N997AT ex-AirTran now flying for Delta. So the model is correct. Hope this helps!

The 727 was indeed a very fast plane, it could reach mach 0.90 compared to the A320/737 with the 0.80. Love these unboxing videos keep going!

Hi Avation18, I can help with your answer to your question about the B717. 15:14 so, from what I heard, older 717s was fitted with the eyebrow windows. But, in April 23, 2002 the FAA said that they had to remove the eyebrow windows on the 717 for cockpit visibility. It was particularly used. But, the eyebrow windows were not used as part of the FAA certification for the 717. I find this as a good thing, because at least the 717 can be used with or without the eyebrow windows.

Some of the Delta 717s actually don't have the eyebrows like the one I took from Newark to Detroit. I don't exactly know why they don't have the eyebrows but I assume they are either newer airframes or they were revamped. But the 717s without eyebrows definitely exist

I will say that the new delta 717 looks more realistic And the eyebrows are just specific to the plane I believe I think it's just random

Great video as always! Love your models unboxing! Concerning the Delta 717, it is normal that this one doesn’t have eyebrows because this plane registered N998AT doesn’t have eyebrows in real life when you look at its pictures on JetPhotos. Hope it was helpful 😉

With the Hawaiian 717, they install the fuel tanks for routine maintenance on the mainland, the are lovely aircraft to fly on between islands! I also once saw one in Miami, do you have any recommendations on where I can get a Hawaiian A330-200 in their current livery?

The livery on that Hawaiian B717 looks great. 🇫🇮 I envy my little sister because she actually flew on them during her honeymoon in Hawaii, but fortunately she promised to buy me some kind of a model at the airport. 🤪

The Geminijets JetBlue A220-300s name says “Dawning of a Blue Era”. In fact it’s the same Reg. Number and name used on other JetBlue A220-300 models. Including Skymarks in 1:100 and 1:200 scale. Herpa in tiny 1:500 scale. And now Geminijets in both 1:400 and 1:200 scale.

Some delta 717’s are without the eyebrows, not a mistake from Gemini. Hope this helps, keep up the great content!

Would you consider getting the Lego concorde? Also do you dislike any of the Gemini 200 moulds?

I'm planning on making a model airport of Anchorage and I am planning on getting a lot of 1:400 Gemini jets cargo planes

Wow the nose gear on the A220 looks a bit better now. Also the eyebrows on the Delta 717 aren't on that airframe at all, as Boeing didn't put them on the last few(Think it was the last 17) 717's off the line as it saved on costs so it depicts a very late production 717. Gemini wasn't lazy, they paid extra attention to that model, and I quite like the extra attention that Gemini is starting to give to their models now.

Don't they make larger models of these airplanes? They look so small. I prefer models that are double or triple the size.

You will not regret the JetBlue A220-300 as it will replace the E190s and older A320s.

I think Gemini Jets were lazy on the Delta 717 because they do have eyebrows. I’ve flown on the delta 717 numerous times and every time they always have eyebrow windows.

Not a 717 expert but some of delta’s 717 does not have the eyebrow window while some do, I don’t know if delta is getting rid of them or if Boeing removed the eyebrow window in there newer 717

Delta took out eye brows on their original 717’s because it was as nuisance to pilots who would just block it out with safety cards, charts and other clutter. However there are some regs with eyebrows still
