So Samsung has finally released their new OLED gaming monitors… I’ve had the pleasure to purchase the 27inch version and it is stunning after you set up your color settings! It’s as thin as paper and the design is top tier I call it the Tesla of monitors! I want to specify that “this is an console review and not for PC” A lot of content creators who review monitors don’t give the time and love to console users so I’m here to do that for us! Even though this is a console and not a pc review, thank you for the being one of the very very slim amount of people to review this monitor specifically. Everyone has been reviewing the G8 and not the G6. Not all of us want to have the biggest monitor out there.

As a hybrid PC and console gamer, thanks for covering the console angle! No way am I purchasing a monitor with HDMI 2.0 ports in 2024, so it's great to see manufacturers increasingly cater to console gamers

I got the g7 one once found out I can watch tv on it too omg litt and the colors of lights flashing imma game heavy on it last one was asus rog swift 27 inches the screen won’t turn on lol

No internal speakers the 32inch one has speakers and the apps.

@@dakotaconcepcion5398 If you have money to buy expensive oled monitors surely you can afford open back headphones or iems that would destroy the cheap inbuilt monitor speakers?
I just got it and I don't if it's normal but when I use the jog button and move it to the left it goes back but then when I try to go to the left it goes out, can someone help

The monitor is really nice but I can't choose ps5 2160p because it's 2k? Is there a special setting, I couldn't do it, there is a 2160p option in your video, can you give me information what kind of adjustment you made because 2160p 4k I don't understand how this monitor goes on 2k 1440p

It would come down to if you like matte finish or glossy finish? Alienware has glossy and Samsung has matte. Me personally I’d go with Alienware.
How long is the displayport cable?

When I contacted Samsung live support, they said that the cable was 1.5 meters long.

Pretty sure this is a qd oled monitor. There is no 360hz 1440p w-oled monitor being produced yet.

Unfortunately it’s not… it’s advertised as standard OLED… after playing it for hours it’s def matte finish sadly 😩

@@Itsyourboyzo The surface finish is not what makes it qd-oled vs w-oled. There are even glossy w-oled monitors now. It is weird that it's marketed as just OLED but it's for for sure qd oled. It's the same panel that MSI and Alienware are using for their 360hz 1440p qd OLED monitors. There is no other 360hz OLED panel in existence yet.

@@jonny555333 I don’t think it’s QD tho bro only bcuz the colors are not as vibrant all QD OLED monitors I’ve tested def are vibrant like over kill this doesn’t even scratch the surface mine you it’s really on HDR too which the HDR is good compared to SDR.
Can I use this monitor with my 4070 TI Super ? Seems like it is not g-sync compatible, that's why i am curious

I just know the brightness is 250. But once you configure your settings regardless you can make this monitor look like cheesecake lol

I’d say no only bcuz the Asus is QD OLED I think that wins by default.

Yes you can. Once I activated it I notice my game run smoother and graphics etc. with my settings I configured.

I got s95b qd oled tv, so my eyes get used to with super vibrant, rich colors. So im thinking move to G60. Should i buy it ? the input làg and responsive is same with LG right ?

It only says standard OLED… also it’s not glossy but the colors are really nice so idk maybe it’s QD with matte finish bcuz it’s not messing with Alienwares & MSI colors and pop or the Odyssey G8 34 inch.
