I was gifted this blender by Philips to review
Firstly upon opening the glass jug was quite weighty and made of glass. Not plastic which I was for some reason expecting.
I noticed that you could remove the bottom of the glass making it easier for when you need to clean.
I then removed the base and again noticed the suction pads on the bottom instead of feet. really liked this feature as the last thing you want is the machine moving when blending.
The base is made of plastic pretty good quality very light compared to my last blender.
The button is a turn button with three speeds.
🖲 turn to the left for ice 🧊 you need to hold the twisted button to use to crush the ice.
🖲 turn to the right for speed 1 & 2
I then put It all together you need to make sure to click the glass Into place you can hear it once Its placed correctly.
The lid then also needs to be twisted into place the are two lips on the glass on on the lid again once aligned you twist into place.
I then used the blender I wanted to make a quick smoothie for the kids as they refuse to eat fruit & Veg so i alway make them smoothies making sure they get all their goodness.
It was quick and so easy to use and the noise from the blender wasnt to bad it did shock my little one at first. But as you can hear in the video it’s the same as every other blender I have used.
I used frozen strawberries so I used the ice crushing mode. I must say it did take around 45 seconds maybe even less.
Overall the smoothie was amazing there was no seeds left by the strawberries it was perfectly smooth it got a thumbs up 👍🏻 from my kids.
I would say it took about 1 min to blend perfectly very happy and would defiantly reccomend.
I would give it a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars
What would I reccomend to make it even better. Maybe make the base different as it’s very light doesn’t feel as good as quality as it the glass.
I usually use the weight of certain items to determine if it’s good quality. (Not always a good method but usually it’s a good indercator)
I would also maybe try and make it not as noisy. That would make it stand out from other blenders.
