First of all, thank you for your informative and long review on this tripod. It just looks so amazing. What is your experience now after one year of using it? do you still have the issues with the sand getting inside? And actually, I don’t see it, nowhere for sale. Do you know maybe any source in Europe where it’s possible to buy it?

Hi, I love it. Its sturdy and well built. It looks amazing and the quick release top is very easy too use. Sand is still getting in but to be honest I don't think its possible to keep it out completely. I have put some paper in the top tube and that really helps on very windy days when you have sand everywhere the air. its very hard to find, I reached out to Dext.se in Swedenand they imported it specially for my, they don't have it in store. I think I found website in Poland as well: f43.pl/pl/statywy-z-glowica-foto/3329-leofoto-statyw-gabriel-lg-324clh-40r-si-6940828304307.html

Thanks for the video! I’m interested in getting this one as well, even though it’s a bit pricy. How do you like it so far?

Thanks, I am very happy with the tripod, mainly because it fullfilled my requirements which were: Removable center column, easy leveling base integration, points to attache accessories and stable legs. On these points its spot on and it was very hard to find a tripod which fulfilled all these points. On top of that I love the design. The ballhead is a ballhead, no more, no less but it handles my camera/lenses with no problem. Also I like the fact I could by all accessories from the same brand (Spikes, sand shoes, claws etc) and they are well made. Only issue I have is I get sand inside the legs on windy days at the beach. I believe its due to the locking mechanism on top of the leg (Where you adjust the angle of the legs), there is a small opening. Not sure if this is a specific issue with just this tripod or it will be the same on all tripods with this solution. So after a beach day I have to dismantle the tripod and clean it.

@@jensbjorkkvist Yeah, i'm really having a hard time finding any tripod that is as feature rich as this one... Thank you for the answer! Its a shame that it isn't 100% but I guess no tripod is. Hopefully the fact that it has sealed leg locks and titanium means that even despite sand is still finding its way inside, it will last for a long time... I wonder if the RRS tripods have the same issue... Glad to hear you are happy with it.
