Yeah, adding the B1 was the highlight of filming, to be honest. I needed him to buffer the edge in the video or else it would've been too much. I appreciate the kind words and you taking the time out to watch & comment! It means a lot! 🙌🏼🍻

Dude, the ideas my wife and I threw around is where ideas go to die or come to life in a year or so, lol! Because I disliked it so much, it was suppose to be an April Fools upload where I used my phone, turned on the airpurifier and opened the window for terrible audio quality, etc. Then it was strictly having the B1 dump on the guy and write the script for him to narrate it entirely, but making it more about himself than the Super Battle Droid. A crazy short sarcastic unboxing where I use maybe 5 secs to explain everything but leave dead space in the video to make it look like a whole upload. A Jackass/office themed filmed review where I'm outside filming.... You get it... 😂 Shout out the B1 homie, he was the highlight for sure! Thanks for watching man. Excuse the novel! 😂

If it hit in-stock, yeah for sure. Even better if you can wait out their stock. It’s hard to tell these days, so I’d say go with your gut.

Thank you as always for showing us a beautifully shot and narrated review. Honesty is the best policy and i could not agree with you more about the very cheap feel to this figure, yes, it does look good, great paint apps but the feel of the figure is all kinds of wrong, especially for a premium piece like this.I ordered 2 but when i received them in hand immediately sold 1 of them on. A very honest and concise review, i wish there were more reviewers like yourself, there are far too many Hot Toys shills out there.

This could have been a neat armybuilder if the price was in line with the quality, but paying such a premium I expect a standout piece.

It seems like a decent enough companion piece to go with some B1s or perhaps Dooku, but once I heard that it was basically hollow plastic it kind of soured the idea of owning any for me. Speaking of the Dark Trooper, I watched your video on it last week and you talked me into getting another one.

Yeah, they definitely work as a companion piece and they could still look the part. But man, the hollow nature of it bothers me so much. The fact that it wasn't released sooner in this state is interesting to me. Hate to dampen anybody's mood for picking him up, because you might still like him regardless. Nothing will top looking at them in the display and feeling sour about the amount I spent for them though. Hope it fades over time. Man, oh man... If I had the space to own more Dark Troopers, I'd definitely buy them. They're A LOT of fun and they feel great in hand. You already know, so I don't have to say much. Grats on getting your new one in and thanks for watching!

Great review. I’m glad I watched this 1st before considering buying this. Sorry about this. I feel like some figures are priced high because of the name Hot Toys but if there isn’t an intricate face sculpt or amazing engineering then the price should reflect that as well. Thanks for a great review video. Stay strong!

Still waiting on my Super Battle Droid. But looking forward to getting it. Loved the B1 battle droids, I thought Hot Toys did a great job on those.

The B1’s were VERY well made. They a phenomenal job on those for sure. So much so, I went and ordered another one for a random shelf. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on it when you receive him.

for me personally, the only issues i have with him is the bronze face and that the droid is slightly too tall. i definitely get the disappointment of the feel of it tho

Yeah, I get the bronze being an issue if it weren’t like that in the movie. After collectors found the obscure Super Commando Mandalorian, I’m sure they picked a pixelated Super and said “THAT ONE!” It looks the part, but man…

Super fun video, my man. I too, think this figure is super overpriced. Would like to own one potentially but not for close to 300 shipped from Sideshow. 🥵

Thank you man! It makes me wish I went with another idea my wife and I had. One of the ideas involved the B1 narration dumping on the Super Droid as an inferior design and stealing the show himself. 😅 But yeah, nah man. You don't want to go throwing $300 to the wind like that. To be fair though, you might love it more than I do, but in hand it's tough. It LOOKS the part, 100%, but dude... I gave it to my wife and she looked up at me frowning like "W...why is it so light?" 😭 She had a full collection of the original Iron Men made of plastic and said it felt lighter than those. Get me out. Excuse the novel. I appreciate you for watching as always man! 🙏🍻
