I did this model about a year ago, it’s pretty nice, the springs do function

I built one of these for my son to play with. I can't wait for this build, to see what you do with it.

And now for something completely different! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one! That checker plate on the back I think looks cool, painted silver (as it's aluminium) might give the Jeep a more utility look.

Spot on, yes in fact that is exactly what that part is you said looked like the transfer case. Looks like a fun build and going to be interesting to watch the build... Nice choice for sure and would be very cool if you did a scratch build lift for this as the default lift is lame to say the least.

Thanks for the videos. A couple of points about this kit, it seems small for 1/25 scale and the roll bar is from the Tomb Raider movie Jeep and not accurate for a Jeep TJ. That said, It will be great to see your build come together.

Nice! Watching this one, I'm a Jeep mechanic, so I work on these all day in full size. One suggestion, lose the fender flares and let those tires hang out

small suggestion, do not say 'I posted some pics and T-H-E-Y chose'... that puts an unnecessary distance, instead say 'you' :)
