US naval aviation nerd here, the Marines fly hornet/legacy hornet (F/A-18 A,B,C,D) the navy is still the largest operator of the super hornet (F/A-18 E/F). Also the sundowners never retired, Theyre just “taking a break” and switch role 😂 from VF(fighter squadron)-111 to VFC(composite squadron)-111 they still fly F-5N to this day as an adversary squadron. Great review nonetheless 🤙🏾

I'm about to order my first Hogan M- series model after quite a few Herpa ones. This video absolutely encourages me to not delay my order given the high level of detail seen in the models exposed. Really excited to have my first Hogan jet after this!.

Actually, the super hornet goes as a different aircraft, the -A/C/B/D variants go as legacy hornets. Great models! Nice review :D

Its an agressor F-16, which are used to train other pilots. The paint is to make them look like enemy aircraft, hence the Su-27 paint scheme

The "Blue Foxes", or "Artic Foxes" are the 18th Aggressor Squadron, part of the 354th Fighter Wing, and the Blue/Gray Viper is from the 64th Aggressor Squadron, part of the 57th Wing. Also, the two Vipers are different Blocks: the 64th AGS example is an F-16D-42 with the Pratt&Whitney F100-PW129 engine, and the artic Viper is an F-16D-40 with a General Electric F110-GE129 engine, and the "Big Mouth" intake, also, the exhaust nozzle of the F110 has a different shape from the nozzle for the F100 engine.

Your broken F-16 is an F-16C Block-42, however, the 18th AGRS doesn't fly F100 powered Vipers, instead, their Vipers are powered by the F110 engine. Only the 64th AGRS has P&W powered Vipers.

Nice!!!! I wish they could do some fighters in 1:400. I’m in support for a fighter jet tier list. I think you should leave the drop tanks on the F-22. Personally, my favourite fighter jet is the F-16.

I wish 1:400 fighter jets were more common too but I just think they’re too small for that scale. My 1:145 scale F-22 isn’t much bigger as my 1:400 767-300ER in terms of area.

Epic unboxing! These fighters look so good. I should get a couple myself. You should go for some IDF aircraft next. Israel has seen more combat and success with their fighters than any other jet operators in the world.

Thanks and yes! There's an Israeli F-35 from Herpa out but I already have The Australian F-35 so I'm on the fence, and 😂 I think that's mainly down to them having to use theirs so often in defence but yes!

The A/B/C/D variants are used by the Marine Corps, the E/F are used by the USN Edit: also when saying Marine Corps don’t pronounce the “ps”, the marines here will get mad and you never want to piss off a marine
