LMFAO this guy takes a photo at 1/15 with a brand new lens with VR vs an old lens with no VR and is surprised that the old one is blurry? Your hand is shaking buddy!

This lens broke within a year with minimal use... Have since switched to Sony and couldn't be happier...
if you haven't sold it yet, how much for the 80-200?
What was the image quality from the 80-200? Given you shot with the appropriate shutter speed?

from the ancient 80-200, it was okay, the new 70-200 FL is definitely a lot sharper and faster in focusing speed. Also, the VR is excellent and I think quite necessary for any modern lens when used handheld.
What lens hood are you using on the 80-200?

The older 80-200mm all are great lenses thats the truth :) iv got 80-200mm af-s and is very good lens

How's the focusing speed? Can it be used for wildlife and sports photography?

@@64viji not the fastest focusing speed. Maybe used for wildlife....some sports....maybe soccer but not basketball for example.
Tripod mount is removable ;-)

Why would you need VR for 1:500-2000 of a seconds shots, I thought that is for 1:1-100 of a Second shots ?

Longer focus lenses benefit from having VR a lot more than shorter focus lenses. In general, you'll want VR for the focus length (i.e. 1/200 for 200mm) and for me personally, I have handshakes so VR helps in all shutter speeds.
