Hello there~
I hosted a group order in my city and this is the very first package that I received from kfriday. As you can probably tell by watching the video, I am very satisfied with this forwarding service!
You may visit their website, www.kfriday.net, for details on how to use their service, however here's a quick rundown for you!
•You will need a Kakaotalk app installed. If you haven't heard of it, it's kind of like one of the Whatsapp equivalents in South Korea. Then find Kfriday Forwarding.
•On the chat window, you'll see a pop up menu for "how it works", "sign up get kaddy", etc. If unsure, just straight up message them!
•Once you get your korean address, you can then start buying online and just put that address on tbe shipping address.
•When you receive a tracking number from the seller, go back to Kakaotalk and on the pop up
menu, choose "incoming goods". You will fill out the details of the package you're expecting to receive.
•When your package arrives, they will take a picture of the box on a weigh scale, so you know right there and then the expected weight of your package. There's a price table on the pop up menu as well and you can refer to that for your expected shipping cost.
•When all of your packages arrive, you will then message them from Kakaotalk saying you want to request forwarding. They will take a picture of the contents and send you an invoice. That's it!
It's pretty easy. I like the fact that I have access to what goes to my mailbox to see all the details of my packages, unlike with other forwarding service where you just sit there and wait for the final invoice. This is especially helpful when you're hosting group orders.
I really recommend this company to all GOMs, and even if you're just an individual wanting to shop to different shops in Korea. They also have assisted purchasing too, so you can ask for their help if you're not sure how to order from a specific shop.
Prices are very reasonable. They ship via DHL and Fedex. I don't think I had the choice on which shipping I want to use, I was just given the DHL tracking a day after I paid the bill. But I didn't mind that as I really prefer DHL anyways!
I currently have quite a bit of ongoing group orders with them and I am really happy to have a peace of mind knowing that my (and my joiners') packages are in good hands!
