Hi Chloe! So excited for your new special gift! ✨ I purchased a small double flap myself this year and can definitely relate! One small tip I was told at the Chanel store was to open the outside flap first prior to changing the strap from the single to the double so that the hardware doesn’t scratch the lambskin. Once again, really happy for you!!

Vintage Chanel is spectacular and is much better quality than anything Chanel sells these days. Yours is absolutely beautiful, and I hope you enjoy it!

I would say it’s gonna be around $4,500 - $6,000 for one in really good shape!

Do you think you’ll want a medium classic flap later

Do you see any fading or purple color on the black? I had it stored and I saw video that said if I live in the humidity area that I should leave it out to breathe. What do you clean yours with? I have not conditioned it ever.

Hi hi! I haven't noticed any color change on mine. I store it in a cloth bag in my closet when I'm not using it. I haven't used any leather conditioner or cleaner yet, I just try to be careful when I take it out!

I’m open to it if someone offered to buy at a good price but I’ve actually been using it on and off more causally since the Chanel is very delicate 🥲

Older/vintage bags have the flat lambskin :) They made them more puffy in newer models!
