I love that green color you have in the hoodie and sweat pants keep that color and get the cool brown color way you want. Can’t wait for your collection to come out want a sweatshirt and sweat shorts in the green color way.

Oh man, that’s so dope! I think I can drop a color like this towards the end of the year… maybe around fall. But I would like to achieve my original color choice for this first drop. Sweatshirts and sweatshorts are most definitely in the plans for the summer!

So cool seeing your journey through this. Definitely agree with you on the colors being off and the fit of the pants. The Aladdin bit had me cracking up lol but it is true, although when you styled them they still looked good. I think just stay on course with the heavier ones but that’s just me, probably because most my stuff is lighter. Either way I will be purchasing to support when it drops!

Appreciate this type of video man, seeing the results of the manufacturer attention to detail good & bad in real time.

Can’t wait to see the final product, definitely needs more washing from the manufacturer for color match and slight leg taper, also a straight leg version might be good down the road

Congrats on the process so far! Given the change in season when everything would be finalized, I would say drop the GSM. I also agree with the colors not matching and I would prefer the more washed tone. I personally don’t ballooning of the leg…doesn’t seem that bad…but I can see how a more slightly tapered fit could potentially elevate the look. Congrats again and I’m excited to see how far Styled will go. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

This is awesome Rio, with the color matching have you tried using Pantone color book so when you communicate what you want the Pantone colors is normally a universal method FYI vintage green for the win 💪🏾

Thanks! I’ve been using a Pantone directory that I found online. I don’t currently have the funds to order a Pantone book. Those things are EXPENSIVE!!! lol. I will most definitely get one when I’m able to though.

I’m excited for your clothing brand! I also think there should be a subtle taper on the pants.

they look good on the bottom, don't think you need to taper it anymore unless you like the skinny style

Thanks, Steven! Not trying to be “picky” per se. Just want to ensure that my vision comes to life. I selected one manufacture after vetting and questioning several in the beginning. I couldn’t afford to go through the sampling process with more than one.

Rio, what’s the difference in price if you sourced the materials and production in the US?

I think doing whole production in USA is way costly as compared to outsource the whole manufacturing process, as a manufacturer I recently worked with lots of US brands and normally we do 45-50$ per sweatsuit with free shipping

I honestly haven’t looked into it, because I know that it would take an investment that I don’t have at the moment. In the future, I will like to look into other countries (including US) for potential manufacturing.
