You got yourself the perfect bag! Congratulations! I have the same bag and have had it for 27 years now along with the dust bag from the purchase. I can’t believe it has been that long. I bought it brand new in 1997, and it was on sale. It was my dream Gucci bag. I just won a competition with a substantial financial reward, and I was staying in a hotel for that competition. It just so happened that the Gucci boutique in my city was holding a sale event at the hotel for a couple of days. So I checked it out and found my dream bag on sale. I didn’t hesitate for a second to buy it, having just had some money from the competition. It was my first-ever luxury bag purchase. When I brought it home and my mom saw it, she just shook her head, realizing that I had caught her taste for luxury bag 😃 It is still in good condition, with some normal wear and tear. The straps are cracked, though, and I have been meaning to repair them. I used to wear it almost all the time; it was my go-to bag in my younger days though I’m not sure if the bag’s youthful style is suitable for middle-aged me now. I still wear it occasionally, taking turns with the other Tom Ford-era Gucci bamboo bags that I bought over the years, including the bigger, black suede version of the backpack. Although Gucci still incorporates the bamboo in their various collections over the years, I think the bamboo collection from the Tom Ford era is the best, and your vlog is proof of that. Congrats on the paint job and the new bag, it looks so good! I love how you choose and style bags that none one else is talking about 💙 Concerning the silver jewelry, have you considered white gold? You get the same effect but it doesn't tarnish like silver. It's more expensive for sure, but it has much better longevity ✨
