Same here, rebuilt both of them I've banged them up so bad, but so much fun and learning a lot in the process.

So was cog spot on with all stock setup,or did it need more nose weight? Thanks

where did you get the extra 6 screws to attach the horns ha ha! (Your inventory showed 6 on the table but you installed 4 each on three horns, ha ha!) I'm assuming 2 per horn would have been sufficient?

I got mine but do I do about the propeller shutting off if I move up on the throttle fast. I’m scared it may cut out mid air and have to reconnect.

No. No one has figured out. Must change reciever/gyro. Then use multi protocol.

Should I hot glue a bit on the rear stabilizer?

Hey mate, great video! Wondering if you can help me - I have the Volantex P51 750mm and there is a problem with the gyro stabilization when in high speed or dive, the plane starts moving around up and down violently trying to correct itself. Do you know an easy fix for this problem?

@@PassionHobbyRC I tried the calibration but it doesn't fix this vibrating/wobbling around issue. With the stabilizer off (expert mode) it's perfect though. Any other ideas? Your airplane looks so smooth with the gyro on!

I've added some E-6000 adhesive on the corners of the servo/radio board to improve its mechanical connection to the main wing. The elevator tail wagging is gone.

​@@robertheim352seems like a smart thing to do...if a gyro is not mounted correctly and glued or bolted to airframe and moves around,of course plane would be gittery...😊

My testing after adding glue to the receiver mount didn't solve the problem, although it did seem better. I also replaced the control linkage for the elevator since most of my tail wagging was pitch during aggressive dives and the control rod was long and thin (it flexes a bit). I added a stiffer control rod (not easy to do), but that didn't help much if at all. I also tried shimming the wing mounts to stiffen the overall fuselage to wing connection, but that didn't help. I expect the stabilizer code that runs off the gyro has too much gain. I'm still a novice and need the gyro engaged most of the time to avoid crashes.@@roadstar499

this plane is excellent and has assisted flight which makes flying easier for starters. I advise you to take extra batteries because the flight is about 5 minutes per battery. Hello

try to adjust the servo with expert mode and then come back as a beginner put it on the ground and do the calibration (vei manual) if the plane flies well as a beginner, don't do ninte. in expert mode everything changes because you have to manually trim from the remote control and adjust the flight of the plane. in the main mode, the control unit does everything so that the aircraft always straightens.

All seem to have problem w rudder in every mode but expert. Had to taxi straight into take off. Once in air not a problem.

Nn ho capito bene a cosa serve lo switch in alto a sinistra del telecomando e invece per lo switch destro ho capito bene la modalità expert é tutto in basso?? Le sarei molto grato per un aiuto. ciao , ti accorgi se il modello è in modalità assistita se quando lo nuovi si muovano pure i servi degli alettoni che cercano di rimettere il modello in volo orizzontale . se i servi non si muovono vuol dire che il modello e impostato in volo libero è che non ha nessuno aiuto . Si ricorda di fare sempre la calibrazione prima di ogni volo con il modello a terra in piano . E tenere d'occhi il tempo di volo (che dipende dalla batteria che hai ) quella che ho io non dura piu di 4/5 minuti

@@richardrimel2306 test the controls before the flight, do not fly in strong winds, make sure you fly safely and in the first few flights do not go too far away, you do not see the plane well. use the stabilized method to gain confidence with the plane.

you friend the flight time is about 4 minutes. if you fly without wind and it lasts longer. if you fly with strong wind it can be 3 minutes I took 3 batteries

@@PassionHobbyRC c'era un po' di vento, ma niente di che. Sostanzialmente oscillava parecchio con il gyroscopio attivato, come se stesse cercando di correggere il vento ma entrava in "risonanza" oscillando sempre di più.

@@giacomozambelli421 Capisco perfettamente quello che dici. io con il mio modello non ho avuto questi problemi, il modello volava abbastanza lineare è il timone non mi dava problemi. (tieni presente che in volo stabilizzato i movimenti di timone, elevator e alettoni si attenuano) Volare con un aere stabilizzato è completamente diverso dal volo libero perché la centralina combatte sempre per allineare il modello è i comandi si danno in maniera diversa dal volto non stabilizzato. Hai provare a calibrarlo prima del volo ...mettendo il modello a terra abbassando i comandi del radiocomando minuto 13:27 trovi le info sul manuale e/o in questo video. Ci aggiorniamo a presto

Sì ho fatto più volte la calibrazione, ma sembra non registrare correttamente la posizione orizzontale e mantiene salvata "quella di default" e si vede dal fatto che l'elevator rimane sempre leggermente scostato. Un altro problema che ho notato è che il raggio di azione di elevator e rudder è molto maggiore in beginner rispetto alla modalità manuale. Cosa che dovrebbe essere proprio il contrario. Potrebbe essere il gyro difettoso anche se spero fortemente di no
