You didn’t plugged the power cable into the Laptop. Therefore the GPU and CPU are heavily throttled. You would get much better frames if you use the power cable. Which should be always the case while playing intensive games.

@@unboxingplus8814 There is a possibility also apart from running the games with a low batery profile, that you could running them form the integrated grpahics card and not the RTX. I used to had this problem in some older laptops and needed to switch the graphics card adapter option beforehand. Atomic Heart should not been running at 8 fps even under battery load.

Next time pls put it in the charger, this will boost the performance by a lot since it can use more watts. Basically this is the performance when not plugged in which is much different when plugged in

You should plug in the power adapter when you doing the game test cause the GPU will be needed more power for better performance and change the Video Output mode to Direct GPU in “MSI Center software” And also pls turn off “WHISPER MODE” in Geforce Experience，cause it will lock your FPS at 30/60 to keep the laptop fans run more silent，whichmean lowering your laptop performance for lower temperature and more silent fan sound. That the reason why u getting frame issue😂

I love that you test all the laptops. I am looking to replace my old MSI GT 70 it is outdated for gaming. My MSI has never broken down never had any issues. Nowadays at MSI I'm disappointed for the GT category they are way too expensive... and they have decreased the thickness compared to the previous ones where I feel they have lowered the quality a bit. Only the top of the range in this category have powerful Dynaudio speakers... it's not fair... If it was you which you would buy it in terms of : - value for money/perfomance ratio - reliability - robustness - better cooling - especially the power and the sound quality graciously

1. Plug the supply 2. Turn on RTX 4060 FFS cause its not loaded by default FFS. U have to set "descret mode" in settings in order to do it. 3. Turn on efficiency mode in windows of MSI software and EVERY game which u tested here would have 100FPS or more in highest ultra settings of graphic. All tests u did was on INTEGRATED GRAPHIC CARD of Intel Core i7 IMAO not RTX 4060 -.- I dont know why someone who dont know such basics is testing such good hardware -.- Facepal

you don't seem to know much yourself, what the hell is FFS? The games ARE using the nvidia GPU, it's just heavily limited by the power usage, which is locked to something low because of running battery mode. You don't need to disable the integrated intel chip in order to use the RTX, windows is smart enough to switch to Nvidia in gaming (but you should disable the intel GPU anyway because of potential CPU bottlenecks)

@@EZnoobas someone that owns this laptop, the brightness is actually the biggest downside, the screen is referred to as *IPS Level Display* which roughly means it’s a TN panel that is high quality however it’s still not an IPS panel which hampers it great performance imo, graphically on power it’s incredible, they didn’t plug it in to show unfortunately

105W, which is the max you'll need because every laptop with a 4060 isn't using more than that, and you achieve max performance with this model

I think if you go in Windows settings and then display and customise there you will find keyboard color settings. There is also function key + light keys on the keyboard for more effects

somethings wrong in the laptop i guess driver update. you have low fps. and you need to include CPU GPU temps, usage, clockspeed and wattage.

how can someone know the watt for the GPU. Sorry I don't speak PC language much but people been saying get the 75w+ or something I forget the exact number of watt(?) cause people say the current laptops all come with low w for the GPU or something.

Wow MSI have to have the worst BUILD quality I've ever seen on their products uggh. Why would digital foundry even be sponsored by this company and all of their problems. Even their parts, GPU's, Motherboards and especially Monitors are horrid too. I'm like a neutered dog, I don't GET IT.
