A beautiful feminine pen . I've read Pride & Prejudice several times and watched the movie dozens. Nothing dreary about Jane Austen, her writings or this pen IMHO.

I've never wanted a Montblanc until I saw this pen. Respectfully, I think it is very feminine. The soft colors and design of the barrel reminds me of the clothing of a gentle woman of the time.

The balance between dense details and overall subtle appearance makes it great to have. You can enjoy it up close without worrying about being seen using an over-the-top pen.

Can a man look masculine with that pen though?

Do you think this is Montblanc's most gorgeous pen? I personally kinda do... it's a jaw dropper visually. Anyone care to weigh in w/ their personal favorite montblanc?

In all meisterstuck models check the threads,,cap as well as body have resin threads,,,so the screwing mechanism is safe,,,,,,,,if the cap has resin and body has metal thread,,then we get screwed up 😂

Would you say this is a pen for everybody or specially for the female hand? Anyway, me and metal sections are not a match.

I do wish they had more variety in their nibs. I'm sorry to say it is a standard medium nib, so would write like any 146 medium.

I find it so funny how hard Montblanc are always reaching to justify their design choices... According to their website this pen in the series of 4 different pens represents the 'Outdoors' aspect of Jane Austen's life. Except for the laurels, I see absolutely nothing reminiscent of being outdoors and enjoying nature. (Mind you, the second tier of the pen is 'The House', so the marble column of the pen body is odd te be covered by the Outdoors version in any case?) It's also really weird how the layers on the cap are supposed to be a reference to the Carrick coat, which is Victorian, not Regency. This city coat (so not worn whilst hiking in the great outdoors) wasn't popular until 50 years after Austen passed away. And all the while the answer was right there: they could (and imho SHOULD) have been a reference to book pages, since the subject is a female author who writes books, not a man wearing a Carrick coat... I always get the impression they design their pens first, and only afterwards start thinking about what they might represent. (I mean, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Elvis is spark plugs, surely? 😂) That said, I think it's a gorgeous pen, I like the wax seal stamp idea and the clip and I can really appreciate that they kept a neutral shape that matches the other Writer's Editions, rather than going ultra feminine, like the Muse pens.

Thread on the body is metal,,and i if the thread on the cap is resin ,,,then please this pen is a waste because the thread in the cap will get worn away easily because of the pressure exerted by the metal thread on the body,,,,,,,,,,,same blunder happens in all the starwalker cap models,,,,according to me both the threads either should be in metal or in resin,,,,,,,this is actually a design flaw

What a dreary looking pen, just like Jane Austen's novels. The design is about as exciting as the adventure of a German cement salesman on a Sunday morning errand.

The pen is a fail. Presentation box is cheap and embarrassing. Pen looks cheap and very fragile. Jane Austin isn’t happy either😂

This pen is luxe. The body is big but the grip is slight and the weight is perfect uncapped. The colour is feminine but for anyone who knows Austen it’s perfect and unique, like nothing else in your collection and there’s nothing masculine about it or cheap.
