I remember getting my gaming setup, which I still have. That is the keyboard I got, its amazing right now but you got the smaller version. I have a larger version and because I got mine with 80 dollars. I does not have as much settings or extra's as yours. But still, one of the best keyboards out there.

I'm never tested Aqua Switches, but I can assure HyperX did a good job on Alloy Origins. It's my favorite known gaming keyboard. Good quality, good sounding, good weight, and evertything else. It's really worthy!

@@HasimFN Debatable, mine works just fine for gaming. Just depends what you like... honestly in terms of performance... it really doesnt affect much. I feel like the only benefit of a gaming keeb would be rgb but mine has a nice amount as is.

@@ImKlutzy I had a Alloy Origins 65 with Aqua's ended up barely using it and went ahead and dove head first in the custom keyboard world. I can never buy a keyboard from a store again unless there's a rare chance that a good enough "barebones: board is being sold. Building your own boards can get expensive but you can also build something that's much better and modular for the same price / less as most of the in store sold keyboards. The Alloy Origins series is a super nice line of boards don't get me wrong. build quality is great and the lighting is superb BUT soldered on switches that you can't correctly lube and my board had awful leaf / spring pings and noise.

I've been looking around for a smaller gaming keyboard, just because i don't use all the keys(it's just for gaming) Since I've been looking into this the snobbery is unreal.. People flexing on this and that!!.. My headset is good enough to block out sound i don't hear the dammed thing! I'm looking at my screen while gaming! I'm in a fortunate position to be able to buy what i want so I've decided to go with a Ducky because i like the looks of them,and they have great reviews!

I have the hyperx alloy elite 2 and I'm disappointed by the stablizers. One way is you can lube them with a brush. but its not hot-swappable. you can lube the stabilizers by lifting one side of a stablizer keycap up, but the other side stays in contact. It should lift up the stablizer head, and you can lube it from there, its not the best, but that's a way without taking it apart.

Spacebar very rattly but you can mod it or just lube it it will help a lot or add cotton mod

stabilizers are rattly but with some good modding it can be made good, like the holee mod and some lube/dielectric grease

Before I saw the name of the switches i was like damn those sound good then I saw they were the same ones I had (akko jelly pink)

Which keycaps did u use?

It turned out great, but the stabs really ruined the sound of the keyboard, but overall still a pretty good sounding board.

You should check Fantech MK860 Maxfit frost wireless too, it comes with lubed stabs and EVA foam.I chose it over hyperx origin and razer huntsman mini, best decision ever
