Hi Adam - well on the occasions I have been at the field - I have managed to tick off 2 of the 27 - LOL MInd you I have only been to the field twice so far this year (blasted weather) !! - I am totally addicted to these aircraft - what I am not ever going to get are the tiny "toys" that your government and Soon mine will be forcing use to take up.. as long as the RID modules are transferable between aircraft - I will get three or 4 of the UK equivalent modules and interchange them as necessary ..sorry but thought it better to rant on my video than yours..... Hope you are all well - Martyn

@@FlankerTankerI get it buddy. Hopefully it will be as good there as it is here, and it IS good despite what Bruce says, Lol. We have FRIA's...basically our flying clubs...no RID required. Hopefully in the UK it will be that way. For those days when we want to park fly, the modules are not difficult to use, and the UM's don't need them. All in all, better than we hoped for in the beginning of all this by far.

Have to agree, the quality of this model looks excellent Martyn. I hope it goes together well and the set up is a doddle. Could be a heart in the mouth maiden though but you’re up for the challenge matey 😆👍🏻

Hi Sean , lets hope I am up for it, I think this and the Alpha jet are going to shred my nerves when we do the Maidens... I hope that Flaperons are going to help slow it down a little for the landings but even they have issues if you do not set them correctly - still its here to be built and flown - and its in the waiting list...LOL.... Hi Jeff - the more I research this one the more I find out its not brilliant , It does seem to have a slow speed issue and a lot of crashing takes place on landing it - for this reasons I am going to set up Flaperons when I do get around to the Assembly... Fingers crossed.... Cheers Jeff.. Martyn

For your canopy lift issue.. I use Fat Guy Flys RC zip tie trick.. simple and effective. Just put a red zip tie up thru where that red spot is at the back of the canopy.. then Some canopy glue to hold it in place.. it’ll look like a scale antenna. Just remember to close the zip loop so you have a ball point on the other end under the canopy.

@@FlankerTanker heya Martyn, as soon as the weather breaks, the flying field needs to be solid from no rain for at least a week before they open it again. It’s the drive to the pits, cars just chewing up the ground.

Good timing Martyn - I'm looking at getting this but I'm in two minds because of the negative reviews ... Certainly looks a good model and I do like motion RC....No import duty? That's a result! Once again, I'm looking forward to your maiden!

Paul, I think by the time I get around to doing the assembly and getting the Maiden completed Freewing will have V5 of this one out..I cannot see myself doing it anytime soon - just too many to maiden/fly and too many older models still in box's.. Sorry - give me a few years.. Hope all is well - Martyn

I have a rtf one in loft but it’s a v1 got a plastic tail pipe I got to convert to my stuff inside there no xt60 in it’s like other end of esc just red & black push in conecters , it has decals as your I think on box it says rc hobby no freewing or Fms make though I will have to do a vid on it , stay safe buddy, G🇬🇧

actually i thought you had a hell hound instead of a dragon there Martyn!! will drop out of the sky without warning? sounds like the real navy version around carriers!! you know Martyn with what you've got squirreled away in the attic already now you need to be triplets to build them all before the end!!

I might have over stated the dropping out of the sky bit - but it does NOT like SLOW....I take your point and it is something I think about from time to time- crazy as it seems - I want to assemble and fly all the models I have before I snuff it.. but its a big mountain to climb - all self inflicted (1st world issues)....
