Rod... this is Zach... I want to make sure you allow yourself about an hour or 2 to go over to the hatchery about 4 or 5 miles from me to see all the Beluga and other misc. Sturgeon species they keep for caviar as well as for aquariums and other large ponds and/or zoo exhibits. You'll trip out... on top of that you can get a "Behind the scenes" type of growout facility, rearing tanks, and a really, awesome (and fast too... lol) overall view that will be something you'll really like to see, that will let us (You) meet my longtime friends over there. You gotta swing by my house on the way up to the new place you're moving to up north anyway... so it'll fit right in to your trip anyway and who knows... maybe it will even add a little bit to your already pretty wide knowledge of keeping the Sturgeon in the future. I know you have a warmed pond (I watch your videos, you're a big inspiration), and as rod said they could do well as long as there is enough oxygen and food available

You also have to make sure they get enough food since the pacu and other fish might eat the food before the sturgeon get a chance. I have some sturgeon and koi and the koi sometimes eat the sturgeon food before it hits the bottom

My G they would do great, only thing we have to watch is the pacus. When they hungry they could chew the fins on the sturgeons. If you keep them well fed then should be any problems 👊🏻! Stay safe and happy thanksgiving snake boiiiii💪🏻😂

Visit Rod, the pacu he gave you were huge, wouldn't want the sturgeon getting bullied by the pacu. Would be dope to see a Sturgeon get huge in that crystal clear pond you have dude!

Recently lost my grandparents from my dad side. Grandfather passed away from Prostate cancer at 94 yrs. shortly followed by my Grandmother at 99 yrs. due to covid.

Love watching your vids years ago when I was into tropical used to love a oddball but in the uk not many places sale different fish would love to be in ya shop I would be there ages lol

Best way to keep a tank at low temperature is to use a beer cooler. I've Done this twice in a north sea tank down to 6 celcius and a sturgeon tank to 3 Celsius

Giant Gourami in Indonesia is called Gurameh, Giant Gourami in Indonesia is usually used as Feeder fish and is usually eaten by humans too

The rams I will say are not a easy fish too keep. They do better in community tanks, with other fish that are not their own, unless you have some that have paired off. Little yet vicious

The first one was albino giant gourami n second one was redtail giant gourami

I used to feed Oscars and small Arowanas to my Aligator Gar !! Sadly I had to Donate my GAr coz he was growing really fast and becoming really aggressive..!! I got bit thrice !! Now my next wish is to raise a sturgeon.. but in India I haven't seen one yet!! Is there a way I can get one for a good price?

they are related to sharks. a lot of sharks cant swim backwards either and rely on sdwimming to get oxygen out of the water. they eat there own liver if you dont give them the right protien rich diet.
