3 m dual lock will hold that power supply on the bottom of any pedal board with no issues. Mounting bracket is really not needed.

Can probably run any power supply from the link socket on it really, it’ll just be wired parallel to the mains power input so it won’t care what’s plugged into it, only limiting factor would be if the cables inside are really thin but I doubt most pedal supplies will melt whatever they’ve used in there.

You know that’s a really solid point! The manual obviously only recommends the Engine Room series devices but yeah I’m sure this can work with most power supplies!

Thanks for this unboxing. I ordered the LVL8 for the Medium size Fender Pedalboard but after going over all my pedals I actually need the LVL12 so I'll be ordering that one this week. Hopefully it fits in the casing? I think they're very close dimension wise (LVL8 and LVL12) so I'll either keep the LVL8 just for a backup or maybe build another small pedalboard? I just pulled everything out of the box and Fender really outdid themselves on the design and build quality. I know you weren't happy about not having install brackets but other than that this thing is built like a small aluminum body tank. I love having the reverse polarity plug too so I can couple my board with my Digitech Whammy IV pedal all in the same rig. I went back and forth for almost a year now and the Fender Pedalboard actually fits my need better than other brands because of the aluminum platform base being lightweight but strong as well. The fun part is yet to come of course. Putting all the pedals in a low noise chain. The rig won't be here for another 3 days so I'm using "Pedal Playground" to kinda figure out the placement part. It's a pretty cool program, if you haven't used it check it out. Have a great day :).

Hey thanks for the heads up on Pedal Playground. I’ve never heard it and as I am about to do the addition of a buffer I will probably need this to fit everything comfortably! Thanks for the heads up! And I think the LVL12 is a little bit longer as I believe it also adds some ports as well! And that Ted one for the reverse polarity is awesome! When I was playing with a whammy it was so easy just to have it there! Also, thanks for the view!

@@anerdheard My pleasure, reviews like yours are infinitely money and time savers so I thank you for this video! I set up with the LVL8 because they were available, ALL of the LVL12's were sold out so I am purchasing a used one off of Reverb for about $70 in savings :). The extra outputs (2) AND the external power output on the front are invaluable for me at least. I had the entire board w/ pedals assembled within 1.5 hrs because I used a hair dryer to add the velcro. If I have to, I can make a custom bracket underneath for the Power Supply. This pedalboard AND power supply are truly spot on (pun intended) for my use. For my overdrive I'm using the MXR Power 50 which I got about 2 weeks ago. You should really check it out. It is a Tom Morello signature pedal but emulates the JCM800 tone to an absolute "T" through any amp! That will get you almost ALL of the tones from the 80's and 90's bands as well as the early 2000's as well. I even got some 70's tones from it also with a little time and tweaking. Whether you like Tom Morello or not don't let politics invade your brain, this pedal absolutely rocks! I play mine through a Katana MKII 100w and it really does the Marshall sound justice! Power isolation through all the outputs is tremendously advantageous also to avoid bleedover issues. P.S. you can also daisy chain your amp through the power of the LVL12 ;).

The controls were challenging for me to understand at first since I’m not familiar with the terminology they used, but I found something totally useful. Might turn out different for a guitar tho.
