Which study material, the least, yet effective,would you recommend? A couple of really important books which you think would serve the purpose.

Hi! If you want to be a lab tech here, you need to have you credentials assessed by PLA and pass the CSMLS exam.

How long it take from start to the certificate?

It took me a year from my PLA application up to my certification exam.
