Sorry for a really late reply. Have you bought then yet? I think you should be fine with either one, but I would go with regular. It is possible to tighten by the ankle, and that would likely handle excess fabric

How tall are you and what size pants are they

I have knee pads from crye emerson war armor and tmc and thay all fit innthese or the "clone" brand g3s :)

@@JonesFitnessOutdoor well emerson advanced and blue label are corect american size and you get cammmo patterns crye dosent make but i still want some tri color dcu g3s but aside from that those 2 styles from emerson gear fit like us crye other clone brands are risky due to there sizeing being differnt since am in north america up in canada but the emerson blue label and advanced some tmc stuff might fit tru sizeing and semapo gear from from korea and arktis g3s look a little differnt and there british

The only flaw is the knee pads shift when kneeling while shooting or behind cover i have some ana russian versions and theres has 2 straps on the back of the knees to keep them centure'd in place witch was smart :)

They're G3s I've worn and been issued enough of them the kneepad adjustment is in the front dip pocket
