Ok so our other air fryer we had was the 5qrt basket and it was super simple you hit the pre heat button the the button for fries potato steak fish veggies frozen foods. Every thing pre made veggies and meats besides pork and chicken all cooked in 10- 15 min usually didn't have to flip. When it stopped working after almost 5 years I was very sad. My so bought this at Costco today and I hate it there is way to many. Parts to store in in a small apartment the steak didn't get done on 400 for 10 min barely cooked I like medium rare. Also this makes a huge mess all I had to do is clean the basket on my other this gets juice not only on the catch tray but on the edge of the door frame But 4 min longer go it to done the asparagus I put in for 10 min instead of the 22 it wanted me to do dried to a crisp. My other air fryer was through in the basket with seasoning and cooking spray hit a button perfect every time. I used it almost every day. What am I doing wrong with this or is this like a glorified toaster oven with air flow.

I got mine at Costco as an early Mothers day Present yay I love it
