Very interesting! I have a question: if the light is strong enough to damage your eyes, would it not make sense to hang it on a shelf below eye level? Also, did the user manual give any information on safe distances for various types of plants? I just got my first lights recently, so I'm still full of questions.

The light is very powerful 😄 but I chose to put it on the high shelf because I have certain cactus here I want to test the light on (Won't see much change until next growing season, but I'm very impressed and it feels like its going to be good) ...well although it's slightly installed above my eyeline, it's not causing damage because I'm never directly looking at the actual lights, I'm just looking down onto the shelf. It's in the corner of my room and it's no bother as it's away from where I'm sitting and am used to grow lights in the room as I have lots. My son knows NOT to look at the lights directly. With the distances I did put an image on screen in my video, if you pause you may be able to read the info. But I will tell you aswell what the manual says... recommended: Seeding... 100-110cm (8-12 hours) Vegetable... 80cm (10-14 hours) Flowering... 45-55cm (12-16 hours) IT SAYS TO MONITOR YOUR PLANTS AND ADJUST TO THEIR NEEDS BASICALLY. I have the light at a distance of the flowering height currently. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵 🌞

That is not a 1000w light, at least you've put the actual maximum the light may put out but it'll be more like 90-100w

Indeed its not using 1000w of electricity, the actual wattage of power usage claimed is 110 Watts.
