Which ratio your thinning the paints?

Usually 1:1 for acrylic paint. But for the fuselage I'm doing 3 layers. 1st one 1:2 1 paint 2 thinner. Then the other two ones 1:1. I might have the 3rd one with even less thinner like 1:0.5. It depends on the color and the number of layers

Do you mask the windows or no

Отлично получилось.А если заместо аэрографии -просто балончиком буду красить эффект такой же? А лаком стоит покрывать?

Thanks for your comment. Yep. You should get the same results with a spray can. Just not forget to adjust your technique as the spay can has a high debit so you need to be carefull. About the varnish. It depends. There are a lot glossy paints so no need for varnish in that case :)

man the amount of hard work you put in these. just amazing. id love to build these models it's just that i don't like painting stuff. id have to get an air compressor for the spray paint etc etc. are there any models which do not require painting ?

Thanks for the appreciation. There are millions of models out there. I'll probably get one from china myself. I've seen a lot of positive reviews about them :) Right now I'm using the revell starter airbrush. It's not the best but it replaces spray cans quite well. Good luck with your models and post them on youtube ;)

You can hand paint the models as well! That’s what I do. All you have to do is just thin the paint some so you don’t see brush strokes.

I always find zvezda ones a bit better than revell

Хм... Модель в конечном итоге не плохая, но если у тебя есть аэрограф, то зачем красить шасси и внутренние стороны двигателей кистью? Так же из-за неровного нанесения масок съехали некоторые иллюминаторы есть задувки у синего молдинга на брюхе передние стороны крыльев нужно обязательно красить аэрографом, т.к не существует ни одного нормального металлика под кисть Еще немного поблёскивают декали (хотя может мне и показалось) чтобы этого не было модель перед нанесением декалей надо покрыть глянцевым лаком. это все что я смог отметить, Успехов!

How did you adress the ineviteble seams inside the engine cowlings, top and bottom ? Or did you skip ?

:) i've sanded a bit the edges and added a thick layer of paint to fill the gaps. The joints are still visible but not that ugly. Indeed there's a hard spot to address:)

:)) yeah. You won't believe this. but I've just finished the little sister 350-900 in aeroflot livery. Was started filming the episode 1 month ago. And i wore a yellow - blue t shirt. What were the odds. I was pissed off about choosing the livery but it'a actually nobody's fault for a mad man's stupid decissions. I'll upload the build tomorrow. Hopefully I'll not lose all my subs over this. It turned out to be a beautiful bird afterall the 350-900
