Interesting filter, lots of media included and charcoal too.

I met their rep at a local drygoods wholesale a few months ago. He gave me one of those but the version below the big one u guys are setting up. Its not a bad filter at all, price is relative to fluval and eheim but are made lighter and more fasteners to keep a secure lid. I installed it 4 months ago and i have had 0 issues. I did move over the original bio media instead of using theirs but thats relative to the application its being used for.

Jesus crist, even i want to buy this filter, and i don't really have a aquarium, haha, piece of art.

Like the clamps. Much easier than Fx6's. The only issue is the hoses that come with it ain't very long. 🙄

The king of the canister filter now. Good by fx6. And aqueal has another hyper link 4500 with touch screen that has not been released in the USA yet. This is just the digital version. Great content. Love the ohio fish rescue.

Got the Aquael ultramax 2000 series of these. Best filters on the market for the price period. Beats my FX6 and is cheaper, easier to clean, has a prefilter, dead silent, low power consumption, propeller at the top instead of bottom (much better for the long run, does not collect sand and other debris). I higly recommend this beast of a filter. Water is always crystal clear and maintenance is minimal thanks to the prefilter. (only cleaning the internal filter once ever 6:ish months). And even then it's not that dirty compared to the FX6, wich even has a lesser load. Never had a problem, and the quality is great!

Ive been looking for a 2x in and out filter to run two 60 breeders of pleco. This wound be great..

It’s a gimmick save your money and buy a Titanium heater and an Inkbird thermostat you will be able to adjust the tank temp from anywhere you have internet and phone signal.. the Contactless heater is only near field which is to be honest pointless…

Same issue here. The 10% off code doesn't work and that other link has a virus warning.

For $500 it better clean my glass, do my water changes, feed my fish, auto top off my water, etc... Sheeeeesh

I have been using one here in Ireland for around 8 months. So far so good!! Not only is it powerful but more importantly it takes far more media than an FX6 and almost as much as the old giant Eheim Classic 2260. But has more flow and media compartments. The only downside is Aquael's customer service is dire. They don't even respond to e-mails! Perhaps they will up their game for the US market...

I've never had a duramax before so I can't tell you. I've had absolutely zero problems with this filter :)

In those tanks where you have so many fish in them, how do you ensure all of them are adequately fed? You'd think there would be hogs that eat more than their share leaving others hungry.

Fish don't get evenly fed in the wild and most fish only need to eat a few times a month..The fish that missed the food one day will fight harder to next to fed.. It's called balance.. Everyday feeding cuts a fish's life span by 1 1/4.. They grow faster they die faster..

Is the aquael link going to be fixed? It's not good that it's directing us to a virus website. And as mentioned with somebody else, the ofr code for 10% doesn't work.

Random question but have you ever sold any of your Arapaimas scales that fell off? If not you should look into it, there’s people that would pay good money for it especially since it’s from a living cared for specimen instead of one that was killed

Trying to compete with eheim, not as high tech as eheim though and I doubt as good, it's just big !
