Unboxing and Torture Test - Amazon's WILD BADGER 26cc String Trimmer

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Wild Badger Power 26cc String Trimmer unboxing, review, first start and test.
The company (Wild Badger) provided both machines used in this video, though this was not a paid review. I am in no way paid by Wild Badger or Husqvarna (lol, duh).
In this review I discuss the merits and detractors of each machine and ultimately determine if they are comparable units or not. Additionally, we determine if each power head will accept the other's attachments without damage.

Love the honesty, you could tell you did not want to like it, but did in the end and that’s an impressive feat for the Badger. Also props to Badger for actually sending you a Huskavarna to test, that says a lot about them as a company to be honest.

Thanks bud. I admit I tried everything to get out of this review ( I do NOT like contributing to the “one way trade problem”, but every now and again I find a genuine golden nugget. I believe this Wild Badger unit may be. They have done the R&D to properly clone the Husqvarna so to me it is like the Predator engines at HF. Solid budget option

Have the Echo PAS string trimmer unit and Wild Badger attachment unit and have used the Badger commercially on mowing routes to test its durability and noticed it overheated more quickly and is a bit on the heavy side but all in all it made it through a full week of mowing with no significant issues and held up well. Good buy for a home owner with a budget looking for a multi attachment unit

I researched a lot of trimmers before my pocketbook decided for me and I bought the Wild Badger 4 cycle brush cutter. I have yet to be disappointed.ive had mine for abiut 2 years and it still runs like its brand new, or better. Of course I take great care of mine. Tool neglect will hit you hard eventually. Great video. 💯

Yep, definitely need a blade, perfect for blackberries. Don't go too crazy with it though, they can put a good shock load on the drive shaft. I learned this lesson the hard way, twisted the end out of my clutch.

Thanks for the video. One question about the Wild Badger I'd like to know. My Craftsman trimmer has plenty of power, but the vibrations from this thing are off the hook. I'm a strong guy, but at nearly 60 years old this tires my hands out fast. Hey, we get what we pay for, I know a more expensive unit would most likely be better in this area.

Really like the Wild Badger, gonna see about picking one up. I've seen their attachments, they look well made and have spline drive on the attachment head? That said, I'm still rocking my two used and abused Ryobi 790r's I bought new back in the day, and "rebuilt" one that got roasted from using stale caster-bean premix.

The Chinaman is quite good. I wanted a battery drill last year but the top brands were much too expensive so I ended up purchasing a brushless Worksite battery drill. The first set of batteries were garbage so I returned it and got new ones. Since then this thing is working like a charm. A technician came to install an Internet box but his electric DeWalt burned up in the process of drilling a pure concrete wall. I lent him my worksite battery drill. He fitted on his drill bit and it went through like butter. Chinese brands are getting really really good.

Thanks for the video. I decided to switch back to gas powered engines for some outdoor tools, such as lawn mower and weed eater because they eat through batteries that need to be replaced at $100+ per battery. It becomes more cost effective to buy a combo tool\battery just to get the battery, but then it means spending more money than just buying the battery. Battery tools are great, but not for every tool.

I am a stihl man (when I can afford it), but I have a curved shaft Echo GT225 that is the most loyal trimmer I have ever used. I’ve had it almost 10 years and never even changed the spark plug! It just starts and runs every time. My blower is the same story. Echo is still made in Japan, which I think is a VERY important distinction

@@DEInTheGarage at one time I ran a lawn service, and I must say Echo outperformed them all, including Stihl and Black Max. Although my 20" bar Makita (made by Sachs Dolmar) chain saw is a beast. Yes, it's a gas hog, but will outperforme about any saw I've ever used. I worked in the logging industry 40 years ago. My favorite job ever was operating that little Timberjack skidder. BTW, thanks for the video. I actually enjoyed the comparison. Have a blessed day.
