I remember the hype
Have you tried compatibility mode? If so, you could install windows on a second disk and use dual boot, so you don't have to use a whole different pc and you can delete it easily without interfering with your normal OS and files.
Wait how was the world more sensible in 2013? We have more technology and understanding of stuff now. Also tbh the latest windows version i would try the DK1 on is older builds of windows 10.
