To anyone interested, he does this in a Version 1 and 2, he also does a Mini variant with a smaller blade. You can also order them slightly customized. Mine is a Mini Pitboss 2, full anodized Titanium with Bronze fat carbon.

I love big knives, and this one seems nearly perfect for me. Great presentation.

I've drooled over a couple ADV fixed blades over the years, but this is the first of his folders I *really* like. Everything but the indexing ridges on the grip are 💯.

I've always liked his designs - nice to see one close up! I definitely dig the blade, and the opening hole design - and the scales are fairly cool. Frankly I'd love to see one with a smoother handle style w/out finger grooves. TOTALLY prefer these to Medfords, however.

I usually don't like "mini" versions of knives but the mini pit boss is still a full size knife. Have my eye on one.

I love ADV knives. Will be picking this one up too.

It reminds me of my carry knife for the day! The Recon 1Tanto in S35VN!!!😂😂😂😂 Same lines just chunkier!!! I really wish the Recon 1 was a bit beefier but it's also been my favorite carry knife in the past year or so even snubs out my Benchmade grail Aluminum Presidio 2.

Not gonna lie. It looks like an expensive gas station knife. Would still love to own one though.

Can you sharpen your little blade,that you use to open your packages,to the point to where it is dangerously sharp?

I wish benchmade would make some of their autos into button locks, preferably with lockig system used in their claymore

Thought it might be a decent heavy duty folder, but the huge hole in the blade makes it anything but a heavy duty folder

If he got rid of the safety and the cog pattern hole it would be so much better and less gas stationy.

You mean austenitic stainless steels. All good knife steels except one are martrnsitic and therefore attract magnet

He wasn’t testing the blade but the clip and hardware. The non titanium liners of Emerson knives aren’t magnetic either… so testing with magnets isn’t proof that it’s titanium.

This particular knife is currently unavailable , meaning I guess that you are the first person to review it because it hasn't came out yet. Also I'm guessing that it's probably going to be around $500+ because also I'm guessing that these are completely hand made to your liking and very small runs.

These have come out in plenty of runs on knifecenter for the last 6 months actually, and they’re between $300-$700 as the materials vary widely.

I own a Mini Pit 2 custom. He sells them direct or you have to catch the releases. Waaaaaay less expensive to buy direct from him though.

Does anybody know if a good button lock knife that's available and around $120-$250?

Protech Malibu man! They aren’t the easiest to get right now but that was mainly due to the pandemic and Protech is ramping up production from what I understand. I think they retail for like $210
