Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Mystery boxes are my weakness!!! This one is unique with it being a fabric mystery box. So excited to see what I can make out of this.

Just to help for future videos, you measure the salvage edge. The white/cream fabric was being measured wrong. The cut edge looked like it was at your face, so the yardage would be measured going floor to ceiling at that point. Hope this helps.

I loved this mystery box concept they have because it gives me a challenge to try to use the fabrics or maybe use them for swapping with fellow crafters. Thanks for the support!

If your fabric the subject even to light from the room, overhead light or lamp light for a long period of time, it will affect the color of the fabric. So I suggest if you have it on a shelf you need to cover it. I covered mine with a shower curtain liner to protect it. Otherwise it will fade. So unless you plan on going through your fabric rather quickly, you might think of covering it with something.

Thanks for that info. I keep mine on a shelf in a closet and light only hits it when I turn on the light to pick my fabric for a project… So I guess I was doing the right thing without even knowing yay!! Please let me know any other useful tips you have. I love learning from others.

OK first time watching your channel. Came to see what was listed in title fabric mystery box. 10 minutes into video and not even in box of fabric yet. This is your channel not mine, but you do you. Much success with your channel.

I wonder if your 'thin foam' was scuba knit? It makes great structured clothes, think cocktail dresses. The first ombre chiffon screamed 'watermelon' to me :) But I agree, the paisley knit was very Christmassy.

Hi! You know that's why I thought making a pumpkin costume with that thin foam would work; because it would hold it's shape. Possibly? And you're so right; it does scream watermelon!!! I can't believe that didn't cross my mind. Thanks for the ideas and support.

Yes! There's plenty of fabric to make multiple items. My dog really needs a good raincoat that actually fits her since most are too short for her. Thanks for your support!
