I've seen plenty of unboxing videos but this one was probably my favorite because of your tips on what to look for with damaged packaging and steps to take to make sure your investment is up to the standard you want. Perfect timing since I'm going to be in the market for my first NIB machine in the near future. So again, thank you Zach and SDTM for continually creating great content that is both enjoyable and informative. Also, those mods!! Stunning!

Great work SDTM. Some neat extra art/details to add to a stunning machine. Just a suggestion for future, episode, you´ve done ten best shots, ten best games etc. Why not an episode with ten best mods?

Fantastic video with the twist of the game being damaged. Great info on what to do when inspecting. I love the clips especially Captain Picard!

I had to deny the receipt of a brand new MMR LE years ago. It killed me to wait even longer but so glad I inspected the box before signing for it.

Would’ve been fun to have seen you do the same number of rum shots as you did when you unboxed your JJPOTC (10?)..and then filmed your reaction to that Wonka being delivered in that condition.

Hope you are able to get that side decal replaced and get a topper. I also heard of some other mods where you could put side decals on the inside of the pinball machine if the machine doesn't have them.

Brilliant machine can't wait to add one to my collection!

While I always thought this was an attractive game, I was secretly disappointed that the playfield did not have the immersive dimensionality of the various rooms of the factory. The mods redeem it, BIG TIME.

I think the ModCouple mods for Wonka are the best they’ve ever done...it’s still my opinion that all of those should’ve been in/on the game to begin with! It’s sad that the community is responsible for ‘dressing up’ a multi-thousand $ toy in ways that the company that designed the game could (or would) not. The community is close to showing how $110 in parts can get the Davey Jones chest to open/close as it was originally intended.

For what these cost, metal cage like a motorcycle comes in world be how my pinballs get shipped!!!

Did you get any compensation from the shipping company? Also, is JJP going to send you another decal?

retroelectrical yes shipping company insurance will cover it. I will be making it easier on JJP by having them send me a decal instead of me sending the machine back

This pin will be my first NIB, and I'm praying to the Pinball Gods that it doesn't show up at my door in this kind of condition...I just wish that I lived closer to a distributor (closest one to me is 3 hours away) so I could have them take care of this type of stuff instead of having to sweat it myself...

Got my wife interested in this one...until she saw the price...FML....

Sometimes you can have to much bullshit in a pinball machine and instead of looking better, it simply looks cluttered.

I hope you took pictures and sent them to Jersey Jack to complain after all you spent $12,000,00 on it if that came to my door and I spent that kind of money on it I would’ve sent it right back and refused it
