I use a handwriting expert once for a case involving a couple of signatures. And even though the signatures looked completely different, he said it was the same person. There are certain characteristics in every adventure that they can tell if it’s real or not.

Unfortunately, Authentication doesn’t really mean much. Without an actual picture or video it’s nearly impossible to be much more than 65-70% accurate on a decent knockoff.

Mostly just comparing to confirmed signatures. The thing is, there are so many variations of autographs that I don’t know how they truly “authenticate” it unless there were multiple witnesses in a room like with NBA overseen autographed game balls. Idk man.

If it ends up being not genuine return it for not being the one in the picture and get the other one, then test if that's real

there is a better chance of that first ball being real, there is no way Kobe would have his signature as bold as it is in that silver auto, he would likely be signing it fast and it would not be as clean and bold as it is

If the ball is genuine and they know it why would they sell it for cheaper when they can authenticate it and sell it for way more

That’s not a real Kobe Bryant autograph. You got ripped off twice. Upper Deck autograph Kobe Bryant Basketballs sell in the thousands. The reason is because he past away and no longer can sign. 😢. If you wanted to get a real Kobe for 400.00 it will have to be a signed card but you are better off paying more and getting one authenticated by Upper Deck, Topps, and Panini.
