I used to have an electronic ‘sounds of service’ playset way back in the 80s; until it broke, I played with that thing a lot. It made a fine car Dealership garage.

The best/ most realistic playsets they've put out in years and the fire station is also really nice

I just found out about these sets last night. Matchbox and Hot Wheels compatibility is something I’ve always wanted. Being able to connect them directly to Hot Wheels sets and tracks makes me so happy. I need these so much. My only issue with modern Hot Wheels City is that all the roads are one lane roads. I really wish they would make two lane roads to add to the sets.

I have that same issue - how can everything be only one lane lol!? The 80s Hot Wheels USA City playsets were awesome and they were two lane and so much fun to play with.

A while back I remember seeing some Matchbox sets with Hot Wheels compatibility advertised on the box, but this was years ago

I thought the same thing - these are the most recent ones I could actually remember that had the crossover ha.

The Gas Station is one of my favorites from the Action Drivers line. You may want to check Target online bc last week they had a great sale on the sets that had a giant bundle for $35 and it has the airport and two or three other sets plus 10 cars and a plane. Extremely good deal!

They are still being sold and we’ve gotten 4 new ones in 2023 so far🏁

Yeah…Mattel owns both…but they used to be competing brands up until a few years ago. Not often does a company that produces two similar products in the same isle, in the same price range, advertise those same products on each others products.
