I understand that this essentially refers to a special preparation period, to get your body ready, but i was wondering what that looks like in practice. Like what is the difference between workouts/diet/lifestyle during the season and the tapering period?

@@realalbertan the humidity that there is at Lima makes the thermal sensation a lot colder. In Lima, this year is the wettest year in a long time, so people are feeling quiet cold.
