Unbelieveable AIRBUS A380 HARD CROSSWIND LANDING during a STORM at Düsseldorf - 4K
I have filmed a few thousand crosswind landings at several airports in Europe within the past years, but this Airbus A380 crosswind landing was extremly hard and extraordinary. At first it looked like a pretty normal crosswind approach but after touchdown the pilots tried to align with the runway which looked pretty incredible. I have never seen such a tremendous reaction of an airplane after a touchdown. You can see that the pilots tried to align with the runway by using the tail rudder and luckily it worked out.
This video shows the incredible skills of the pilots. Even after an unexpected wind gust after touchdown they managed to re-align with the runway. Incredible job by the pilots !!
Watching an Airbus 380 is always interesting and a pleasure to watch. I would realy like to know what the passengars thought during the Arrival today at Düsseldorf.

How to drift with an airbus a380
That is pretty similar to my landing in FSX .... without any wind.
It's sad to see other producers and agencies ripping off this video, welcome to the totally unfair world of 'fair use'
The Fast and the Furious: Emirates Drift
Very poor approach, he is supposed to cross the threshold at 50 Ft and he arrived to the RWY falling down instead of flying, he also make contact way before the touch down zone. The pilot did not approve this check ride.
I'm an Airbus pilot. I'm sorry but this is not a good example of crosswind landing. The pilot in command used the rudder way too much. That kind of overcontrol is not necessary, in fact in this example it is obviously dangerous. Anyway, as they say any landing is good as long as you can use the aircraft again.
I thought this must be clickbait, but...that landing was pretty skewed.
A lot of people say the pilot has incredible skills. I see it differently. He nearly crashed the plane. I bet they at least need to install new tires and thoroughly check the landing gear. This is a very very rough landing, caused by late extreme rudder inputs. Almost looks like pilot induced oscillation. This was a terrible landing and we should be happy the wings didn't slam into the ground.
I hope the crew handed out complimentary brown trousers for the passengers.
Wow!

I have to say.. I will miss the a380 when it's short-lived existence comes to an end. What an absolutely amazing sight to see and marvel of engineering! And the pros that fly it.. top notch. Its all top notch people at the pinnacle of their professions.. my complete admiration and respect.

Unbelievable how much stress those landing gears can handle 🤯
I was more impressed by the toughness of the tires. They took some incredible lateral loads. As far as the quality of the piloting, I’m no pilot so I can only say, any landing you walk away from...
Bis das Flugzeug den Boden berührt sieht es so aus, als würde es wie ein Helikopter landen. Gute Aktion vom Piloten.
I can't even drift a cycle

I am myself an airline pilot on A330/340. Unfortunately I do NOT agree that these pilots did a good job. The only reason for the landing to look so "scary" was the unnecessary and too large rudder input shortly before touch down and also thereafter. Usually you call this: pilot induced oscillation. (PIO)
