So many other singers have put in the time and effort to study and practice to achieve a certain level of singing. Dimash already had his mind made up at a very tender age to almost make music a part of his DNA. Not only training his voice but to studying the dynamics of music. He devoted time and energy and sacrificed his adolescent years for music. He made a statement during an interview that if you were to cut open his heart you would see music. Even now, he says that he does vocal training for 3-5 hours a day every day. He is music and music is his him. He also stated that since the age of 2, he has never wanted to do anything but sing. There is a series of 12 short videos entitled "The Ultimate Dimash Guide." These videos will give you a better incite into Dimash. The two of you are the only reactors whose pauses never seem to bother me. Others just pause to go bonkers over Dimash's voice; whereas the two of you have something of interest to say. Thank you both again for this video and your reactions and comments. See you on the next Diamsh video.

Why do you watch reaction videos if the reactions bother you? Who are you to dictate how someone should react? I've seen plenty of reactors who do have something intelligent to say about Dimash's voice - for example, the latest such channel, imo, is that of Sir Hairless, whose musical analysis is among the best I have seen. This whole 'I hate all reactors except you, you are different to the rest' is weirdly creepy and sycophantic.

Dimash has a universal voice. To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a stem cell. In this sense he is a "mother voice." From this cell any type of tissue can be generated, what are commonly called musical genres and voices, so its transitions are also such that the transition no longer exists. In conclusion the other singers perform a song but Dimash performs himself. Greetings from Panama.

Another Dear probably said this already but just in case! Igor Krutoy (the bald guy on the piano) is a world-renowned Russian Composer, who won medals from the Russian government, and retired years ago. He saw Dimash sing and came out of retirement solely to write songs for him. You’ll see them on stage together a lot. And you’ll hear Dimash pay his respects to Igor, if you see him talking after a performance. he’ll direct the audience attention to Igor, not himself. It’s really sweet. this guy is so humble.

Why repeat the information if someone else has already said it? But since you do, the question I have about Igor Krutoy concerns his extraordinary wealth: prior to Putin's disgraceful invasion of Ukraine, he was reputedly the wealthiest musician in the world, and said to be worth $13 billion. No musician in the west is worth anything like that, although they are probably more famous in global terms. How did Krutoy come to be so rich, and what has happened to him since the invasion? Alla Pugacheva, with whom he has worked closely in the past, strongly condemned the invasion; Dimash has not performed in Russia, I believe, since the invasion; but Krutoy, who is Ukranian by birth, has not said anything as far as I am aware. Nor have he and Dimash had any new collaborations recently. Has the invasion strained their relationship? Is Igor yet another of Putin's oligarchs? Have his property assets in NYC and Florida been affected by the sanctions imposed in the wake of the invasion?

Some things that make Dimash a different singer are his absolute pitch and the ability to perceive and reproduce microtonalities (which currently reach 32 semitones and which is not a common scale in the West, which uses the well-tempered scale of 7 tones and 5 semitones ). He is also a phenomenal composer and arranger, a fact that complements his singing, as everything that needs to be done is already built inside his mind!

Although he sings in around 13 languages, he speaks 3 (Kazakh, Russian and English). He is not studying Mandarin, like many will say. His great diction was no doubt drilled into him by his teacher, Marat Aitimov, with whom he started his vocal training. All Marat's students have similar, clear diction. Dimash sang like that even as a teenager, with soft little consonant pops. It is really nice to hear

Love your reactions! 👍 Stranger is an epic song with touches of medieval, Gregorian and even a march together. I love Dimash’s different voice textures specially the Middle East vibes in those riffs and runs 🎤❤️🔝🎼👏👏 Igor Krutoy said “It was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way” The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 The Kobyz is the first stringed instrument ever. Kobyz is an ancient tool of the Kazakh people. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. The open body and strings of the kobyz from a bunch of 30-60 untwisted horse hair give a very thick, overtone-rich timbre. 🔝🔝

At the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound. Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"

Thank you guys for this reaction, you made my day. I an super happy to see two professionals reacting to our Dimash. He sang each of his songs differently every time. So if you react to same somg couple of times we wont say NO😊. he is very much in control of his vessel, knows what is he doing. On his Almaty concert , people flew from all over the world to witness his work of magic. I want to request a song to react, but honestly i dont know wich one, because all of them are beautiful and unique. Thank you again ❤

Thanks for all The teaching in your reaction. I always say that when all singing handbooks finish is when Dimash’s one starts. At my 58 years of age, it is the first time I am in absolute love with a singer’s voice. I flew to Turkey to see him Live and it was a Once in a live time experience!! Such an incredible human being as well. He had scheduled his concert at an open stadium and it turned out to be a 100% storming day. 48 hours before the concert, (just when I thought I had flew all the the way to Turkey for nothing), he moved the concert to the opposite side of the city to perform in a huge conference center and put free shuttles from the old place to the new one for those who needed transport or didn’t know about the change. He waited for them for an hour until the last shuttle arrived. Then, during the concert, he listened to a very good voice singing in Kazakh one of his songs and invited her to perform with him on stage. He also sang part of a song with the baby of one of his dears, in his arms. We love the whole Dimash package. Such a humble human being! A model to be followed by new generations. ❤ from Spain 🇪🇸

"Stranger "- mystical, and, at the same time, motivating song, like, for example, «Olympic». A song about a chance to find out if a person has the power to start a new life on a new earth. You listen and you realize that a person can overcome any obstacles. Who is this traveler? Where did he come from? Maybe our traveler came out of the time portal. A man from another time, from the past or from the future? The composition has a mysterious and unusual sound. A work of genius! In all aspects: the genius of the idea, and the game on kobiz, and the combination of different musical directions and, of course, the voice and personality of the performer. We live in a very interesting epoch. We will see how the music art will be divided for the time «before» and «after» Dimash Kudaibergen.

Dimash has the gift of absolute pitch. It's common among musicians, but extremely rare among singers. He has mastered this gift with so much training. He also spends a lot of time swimming under water to strengthen his lungs. Dimash has PHD in music composition and a Masters in instrumental music. Thank you for reacting to Dimash❣️

Let me help: Who is Dimash? From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. His range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year. Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and, despite his popularity and talent, is a very warm and humble person. Dimash 2023-Vocal range: Growls (vocal fry): G0-G1 Vocal Fry: G#1 - D2 Chest voice: E2-C#5 Mixed voice: D5-C6 Head voice: C#6 - F#6 Whistle: E7-D8 Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves *Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves To put it in context: He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note. Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano.
