Love seeing you in a proper Irish rally car on proper Irish roads! Your content is all great but your Ireland trips are my favourite 😅 I've been out of the country the last few years but I grew up in Cork and as a kid each year I could get a spin from the neighbour who owns the farm next to me in his mk2 Ford Escort rally car on the shakedown stage of the West Cork Rally. I could'nt even see over the dash the first few years hahaha! It's the most exhilarating feeling in the world bombing it down the narrow roads of Ireland in a fully stripped, rear wheel drive tin can 😁 I see the very same face on you and RJ that I had myself as a kid and it brings it all back, so happy ye got to experience that 😁😁 Keep it up Jimmy man you're killing it! 🍻

The Tsport Yaris can be a blast to drive. There are some inexpensive well made turbo manifolds easily available. A nice T2/T3 turbo setup and some BC’s and RJ would have himself a tasty little drift/rally whip. The braker yard was just amazing, I figured they’d have some basketball court sized spotless shop and it’s just a shed with a scissor lift. Who knew?

Its actually good to see you both genuinely seem to enjoy it over here especially with our quality weather and state of the art sheds 😂

The left hand mirror touching the foliage helps stop you losing the right hand one to oncoming traffic, we call them “hedge feelers!” Round here (far SW England) the hedges have a stone pile under the bushes and there are no verges at all. White line means the carriageway is at least 9ft wide your side. We count those as a main road here. Jack and Connor building cars and driving them like they should be done. Long live wild men in sheds!

That 86 rally's 2nd gear was insane. James n Jimmy's heads were pinned

James deane and Jimmy are the two men that have given me confidence to actually drift and build a car….why? I’m 6’7 (same height as James) and can barley fit in a normal traffic car. Shout out these two.

Now jimmy has done a round of IDC, time to get to back to do some rounds of the tarmac rally season with jack as his co-pilot, ah fair play jimmy nice to see the fact you love bringing the Irish car scene to a world of people that don't watch DG

I love this video so much. RJ being so stoked and casually becoming buddies with a Rottweiler in the background in James Deane's shed, let alone JD and the Shanahans all being world-renowned, top level drivers but all of them just hanging out in their home workshops and letting Jimmy and RJ just come over and hang out, and see what they're like when they're not in full competition mode. And of course for Deane to say he's been watching Jimmy's progress and that he was excited to see what he can do at Japfest! Both James's are talented and recognised in their own right and both have been drifting all over the world but it's still so cool to see.
