I’m all fixed up and have better looking teeth now but I cannot do another backflip..I tried on a trampoline but my body wouldn’t let me, it’s just too traumatized. Nothing "unbelieveable" about northern lights. Here up in Northern Norway, above the arctic circle, they're quite common during cold winter nights, and can be a spectacular show to watch, sometimes moving about at insane speeds. Most common are the green lights, but they are sometimes in many different colors. And hail doesn't only occur during storms - we usually have hails a couple of times each summer, and it mostly appears on bright warm days with light clouds. Nothing of the sizes in the video, though, they're mostly around 5 mm in diameter or so, and rarely damages anything.

Japan has a lot of foods where serving the animals live is part of the experience. They have VERY different animal cruelty laws over there, so you can literally see Squid being skewered and waved around so people can see it flail on the street.

That bus video made me so sad. We got hit here in Kentucky by the flooding on July 28th. Flood waters are definitely not something to mess with. The force behind it took 40+ lives, all of our homes, and so much of our livelihoods.

What was funnier? 0:50 The fact that *he saved himself and his beer, but did not **_even try to grab his "sweetheart,"_* and pull her to safety? Or the poor *dad in the background, who tripped over his own feet* when he saw the couple waylaid and nearly ravaged by a tree? That clip is a good one! @9:00 The thing that is obviously, but maybe not so obvious if you do not fly sport-kites, is that the surfer has complete control of the kite, not visa versa. He can by manipulation the nylon or kevlar cables make the kite instantly change direction, including down. It can be stalled as well. He only jumped the pier because he wanted to, not because the kite made him. Now granted, this very well could happen, to inexperienced kite-surfers, that either do not know how to completely and safely navigate a kite, but who by getting caught off-guard could find themselves at the mercy of the wind. I know of at least one instance when a kite-surfer found himself a deadly altitude. By luck and some skill he was able to keep the kite inflated like a parachute and safely descend, rather than plummet to his death from hundreds of feet. @10:12 You can't say it's not a "fresh" meal!

I've seen a few dust devil's. They were only big enough to blow some dust and litter around, nothing spectacular. With 20 years in the Navy, I've seen an even ten waterspouts. Beautiful and dangerous. One ship in company took a direct hit from one. Did a fair amount of damage to topside equipment and water blasted the paint off of several spots on the hill. 200 mph rain is a beotch. But the best was a barn fire that we responded to in Madison Township (just outside of Columbus). It got so hot that it created a fire devil (think dust devil, only made out of fire). Now THAT was a sight! Especially when it was less than 25 yards away.
