I'm an upholsterer, and I'm here to tell you that the center seat, on that bench, for three people has been replaced. Most likely, it was cheaper to have the center seat reupholstered when it began falling apart, but the seats on the right and the left still had a few years to go before they needed to be replaced. Further, the seats to the left and the right are probably made of naugahyde; the center seat is vinyl.

I’ve got a copy of With The Old Breed, a book I love, I took a pic of it the day I got it, and after three years of repeated reading and carrying around in bags and pockets, it’s been pretty worn. Same thing with my Otter Box, been using it for almost a year with the clip on my belt, the rubber cover is off the sides and it’s turning from back to a strange greyish color where the rubber has been worn down. And the screen protecter has gouges and scratches in it.

Maybe the guy had a good knack for finding cats that were well behaved. I knew a co-worker who grew up with a cat that thought it was a dog! She said it followed her father out to the mailbox EVERY day. Soon it caught onto all his daily habits and now it tries to get the morning paper! I guess the cat shoves the newspaper across the porch... Funny thing is nobody in her family taught the cat any of that. They think it's a verrrry curious type and has fantastic memory so it picked up one or two of the family's daily habits.
