    This was the best floor I've seen. None have ever come out like the countertops which had made me apprehensive of doing it

    I really dig going over what happens if something happens, like filling the holes after putting on the moisture seal. Sometimes YT videos are so perfect, that when stuff happens like that, DIYers start to freak out! Well done, Mitch!!!

    Great work. I have seen enough to now tackle my own project. Im planning to do my garage which is 6mt x 5.5mts which is around 360 sq ft. in a decorative pour. Not a big job but I am looking forward to getting into it. Do you have a vid that shows how to finish off at the roller door? I have the bottom of my door that sits in a drop off from the main part of the garage floor. About a half inch drop. The concrete then ends at an expansion joint. Not sure how to get this part finished.Would like to see how you do it. Cheers buddy!

    Is there anyway of putting epoxy over slate tiles where they still show but are sealed and shiny..how would it adhere?

    You will have to scruff up the tiles first, get that top lay off the tiles. Then put down the paste prime to remove the tile lines. Then you would be ready to go. Mike have a video on it.

    What is the required maintenance on this floor?

  • @tylerskelton9339

    @tylerskelton9339

    Depending on the traffic, it may need to be polished once a year, but other that that similar maintenance and cleaning compared with tile or laminate floors. To keep it pristine, I'd give to a light sanding and new top coat every 5 yrs. But again that all depends on traffic and amount of direct sunlight and extreme weather (temperature) changes
