How a person can side-slip a massive aircraft and still land in the right position is incredible.

It's amazing how a piolt can side-slip a huge aircraft & still touchdown in the correct spot.

It is amazing to watch but a good pilot should be able to "spot" land any aircraft that he flies from a slip. The slip takes the place of flaps by increasing rate of decent while the position of the nose (elevator) controls speed. Too much speed and the slip is wasted, you'll overshoot the point of landing.

9:00 The car was not on the runway. It was on a road just before the the runway and the plane came in too low.

You don't need to leave your seat to hand prop a cub. Just lower the nose until the prop starts spinning. Doesn't take much!

When in the Navy saw a plane coming in for a landing at our air field. The pilot punched out and the plane landed like normal and just ran off the end of the runway. An other a time plane started take off, wheels went up and then the plane hit a dead air pocket and went the rest of the way down the runway on it's belly.

At 3:28 on the video that red plane the weird looking one that's the exact same type of plane that got John Denver killed

That is a U.S. Navy Blue Angel aircraft. They always have a 2 seat plane in the flight group that is used for V.I.P.’s and journalists and so on for flight demo rides. The guy in the back seat is not the pilot. The pilot clearly pulled enough Gs on this flight to make the untrained passenger pass out. The pilot was conscious the whole time. By the way, they do not always fly with a crew of 2. Most of the F/A-18 aircraft are single seat planes.

This would be much more enjoyable without the ridiculous music
