The reason for that is because some umpires will call the batter out if you touch him before he touches home plate, my teammate hit a homerun and i high fives him right before he touched home and the umpire called him out

Lol you can see they learned there lesson after the first home run. The kid probably got called out because one of the teamates touched the plate which is an interference call. All of the other clips you’ll see the coach and parents yelling at the teamates to not step on the plate. Same thing happened with my team in 10u and we lost the game on the walk off home run cause someone stepped on the plate. Love to see them learning so quickly

You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about 💀 he hits for power like most kids when you throw middle in; just pull the ball especially in 9/10 but when he gets a pitch outside he takes it the other way... it’s a pretty swing,he’s just naturally bigger than most of these kids

I know what you mean. But if they touch him before he touches home then he will be called out. It happened the day before to a kid. Nobody likes that rule but some of those umps will call you out. And the boys get so excited that they don't think about it.

Doesn’t necessarily work that way. I was the biggest/tallest in my class and on any of my hockey, basketball, volleyball or football teams from K through University. By a substantial margin. Was 6’7” at 14 y/o. I’ve met other guys in my athletic career that had similar experiences growing up. I have no doubt that this kid is 9. He looks remarkably similar in height and build to my 9 yr old son who is a beast of a hockey goalie 😎🇨🇦
